5: Good Day

The next day, Terra ran inside her parents' house, "Hey Green bean!" Terran said as he hugged Terra, "Hi, where's Ma?" Terra asked with a big smile, "Upstairs." Terran answered as Terra ran off. Terra runs to her mom and gives her a hug, "Someone's energetic!" Erika said with a smile. "I haven't seen Uncle Adam in so long! I bought him a snow globe because I remember how he use to always get me one!" Terra cheered. "That's so sweet!" Erika said as she put on her shoes, "Oh, guess who I saw yesterday?" Terra asked as she sat on her parent's bed. "Who?" Erika asked, "Lisica from middle school." Terra answered, "What did ever happen to you two? She used to always come over." Erika asked, "We got guest, come downstairs!" Terran yelled, causing Terra and Erika to go down the stairs. "It's kinda weird seeing my principal, teacher, school nurse, and mentor in my home..." Terra thought as she stayed on the stairs. "Hey Kid." Lai said as she leaned on the stair rail. "Hi Daydream." Terra waved, "Who's ever coming has a bold aura. Even louder than yours." Terra said as her eyes glowed. "Valerie." Lai said before running to hide behind Ms. Files, "What got you so scared?" Nurse Mare asked before the front door opened, "A star has arrived!" A tall black woman with sunglasses and puffy hair said. "Wait... Isn't she the president!?" Terra muttered, "Is that Terra?! It's been so long, you probably don't even remember me!" Valerie laughed as she looked at Terra. "It's been too long!" Erika said as she hugged Valerie, "That's right, she was Ma's partner when she went to Files Academy!" Terra thought. "Is that Lai Flora I see?" Valerie asked which caused Lai to jump in fear. Valerie walks up to Ms. Files and smiles as Ms. Files steps out of the way, "It's nice to have you back!" Valerie said as she put her hugged Lai. Valerie began to hug Lai even tighter, squeezing Lai, "Don't ever disappear like that again! You need to somewhere to go? Come to the Blue Forest because what you did wasn't cool, aright?" Valerie whispered, "I understand Va- President Boodun! Loud and clear!" Lai yelped as Valerie let go.

"He's down the street! He thinks Erika is only here so everyone get in your places!" Terran yelled, Terra runs and grabs a confetti popper before turning off the light. The doorknob turns and a hand reaches towards the light switch, "Erika, I-" the man is cut off when he turns on the light and everyone yells surprise. The man was a tall man with pink hair and red eyes, "Happy Birthday!" Everyone yelled as Erika hugged her brother. "You guys didn't have to!" Adam said with a smile as Erika let him go, "As if I was going to let my brother spend another birthday away!" Erika chuckled. "Let me take your suitcase upstairs to the spare room." Terran asked as he walked over, "Thanks, man!" Adam smiled before Terra hugged him. "Hi Terbear!" Adam smiled, "I got you something!" Terra said as she showed off a bag, "Thank you!" Adam said before side hugging the other guest. "It's been too long." Nurse Mare said to Adam, "Yeah, I remember teaching you all how to drive!" Adam laughed, "The number of cars I've crashed." Lai said with a chuckle. "Yeah, you crashed mine." Everyone but Terra and Penny said, "I knew better to never trust her with my car." Penny said as she shook her head.

Everyone sat at the table and ate together, "Terra, I loved the snow globe! I can't wait to put it next to the one you gave me last time." Adam said as Terra sat next to him, "This is the first time I gave you a snow globe." Terra said, "You were so small, you probably don't remember." Adam said with a small laugh. "So, Adam, did you fly or take the train?" Terran asked, "I took this new airline the Frocks just dropped." Adam answered, "I don't trust the Frocks industry and especially the family." Valerie muttered. "How's president life treating you, Val?" Adam asked, "Why you ask? You trying to be the First Gentleman?" Valerie jokes before laughing. The doorbell rings and Terra gets up, "I'll get it!" Terra said as she walked towards the door. Terra opens the door to see a tall man in a suit, it was Arthur, but Terra doesn't know him, "Hello, could you please give this to Adam Novare?" Arthur asked as he handed Terra a bouquet. "I can get him so you can wish him a happy birthday?" Terra said as she turned her head but when she looked back, Arthur was gone.

Terra walks back inside the house and gives Adam the bouquet, "Some old guy asked me to give this to you." Terra explained which caused Erika to get up. Erika walks outside and checks the street before going back in, Arthur stood behind Panther as Panther watched Erika. "Why didn't you go in?" Cleo asked, "You found me quick." Arthur said as Cleo handed him a cigarette and a lighter. "Elizabeth has her cat's goons looking for you. She wants you to join us, she said something about taking over the world again." Cleo said as she smoked her cigarette. "We're too old for this! Our time is over, and she just can't understand that." Arthur said. "And you had to kids with her." Cleo laughed. "Have you seen your son yet?" Arthur asked. "No but my grandson gave me his old address. Out in the Blue Forest." Cleo answered.
