4: Familiar Face

Terra was now walking with Blaze, "Can I have a sip of your boba?" Terra asked. "Are you feeling better?" Blaze asked as she offered her boba. "Yeah, I'm glad I got to speak with my mom. I think I really needed it." Terra answered as she sipped her boba. "As long as you're feeling better." Blaze said as Solar brushed against her leg. "Why does she keep doing that?" Blaze asked. "Solar likes you! She also likes wet food too, but she won't eat the hard food at all." Terra answered. "She's not a normal cat." Blaze said. "Have you ever thought about getting a pet?" Terra asked, "I already have one. I have a pet snake." Blaze answered. "Really!" Terra cheered. "Cerro has a cat, you should ask her for cat advice." Blaze suggested. "Yeah..." Terra said as she turned and saw a female fennec fox animun with long orange hair from afar. "She's been staring at you for 2 minutes. Do you know her?" Blaze asked. "Yeah..." Terra said before turning to walk away.

4 years ago, Terra was sitting outside trying to help a plant. "She's so weird!" "Careful now, don't want her to disintegrate you away." "Yeah, my mom is always telling me to stay away from her." Terra heard girls whispering. "Your mom also does crack, now leave the damn girl alone." Lisica said causing the others to laugh. "What the fuck Lisica!" the girl said as she slapped Lisica. The group of girls begin to all jump Lisica, kicking her to the ground and stomping on her. "We're done Lisica! Find a new plug, you dumb bitch." the girl said before walking away with her friends. "Does your mom actu-" a girl asked, "No, Lisica is full of shit!" the girl said. Lisica laid on the ground with a small smile before sitting up. Terra crouches down and rubs aloe on Lisica's scratches on her leg. "It's Aloe, it has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties." Terra said as she grabbed Lisica's arm and started rubbing it. "Why did you stick up for me?" Terra asked, "Because you're not a bitch." Lisica laughed.

Terra walks into her room and sees Solar, "Hi Solar!" Terra cheered. "Guess what we got you! A bunch of wet food and toys." Terra said as Solar purred. "I'm going to my room, text me if you need me." Blaze said before turning around. Solar runs to Blaze and rubs against her leg, "I think she likes you more than me." Terra laughed. Blaze looks down then walks away, "Goodnight Blaze." Terra smiled. Terra's door closed and her phone began to ring, it was an unsaved number. "Hello?" Terra said. "I didn't think you would have the same number... Hi Terra." A girl said on the other side. "Oh um, hi Lisica." Terra said. "I didn't know you go to FA too, I'm in class F13." Lisica said. "Oh, I'm in class F11, I got in near the beginning of sophomore year. How long have you been going to Files Academy?" Terra asked. "Since freshman year, you know my parents always wanted me to become one." Lisica laughed. "Yeah, it used to be our dream to go here together." Terra mumbled. "It still can be. I missed you, Terra." Lisica said. "Yeah, I missed you too." Terra said as a tear fell down from her eye with a soft smile. Terra wipes her face and laughs a little, "Remember that shake spot we used to always go to in 8th grade?" Lisica asked, "Yeah, what did happen to Lana's Sweetooth?" Terra asked, "They opened a new location nearby. We should go sometime." Lisica suggested. "Yeah, I'd like that." Terra said.

Terra and Lisica were now sitting inside a shake spot. "They really did change a lot, even their mascot got an upgrade." Terra said. "Yeah, you used to hate the animatronic mascot." Lisica laughed. "You still wear the bracelet?" Terra questioned as she looked at the green and orange bracelet on Lisica's wrist. "I never stopped." Lisica admitted, "Me neither." Terra said as she showed hers. "Coming here never felt the same without you." Lisica said. "I actually never been to Lana's Sweetooth since that day..." Terra mumbled. "Forget about that! Nothing else matters now that we're friends again." Lisica smiled. "Yeah, um are you and Connie still dating?" Terra asked. "Ew no, he and I broke up the end of 8th grade. He was so stingy." Lisica answered. "I remember I used to call him twin because we both had green hair." Terra laughed. "What did happen to your hair? I never thought I'd see gold on you." Lisica asked. "It happened after an accident. I just woke up with gold hair." Terra explained. "Are you dating anyone?" Lisica asked. "Nope, there's this one guy I think is cute, but I think that's just it. I don't know if I could really see myself in a relationship." Terra explained. "Is it the commitment part?" Lisica asked. "No, I just don't think anyone actually wants me to be their girlfriend. I never dated anyone before." Terra explained. "You're the prettiest thing ever, anyone would want you to be their girlfriend." Lisica said. "You're still such a flirt." Terra said with a chuckle as she took a bite of her ice cream. "Yeah, you got a little something right there." Lisica said as she wiped the bit of whip cream off Terra's cheek. Terra was speechless as she watched Lisica lick the whip cream off her thumb. "That's what I'm talking about!" Terra said flustered.
