-Your POV-
I took my mask off temporarily as I was cleaning tables. I sensed the Jujutsu sorcerer come in. He was wearing his usual white bandaged blindfold as he greeted me in sign. I was shocked as I signed back to him while smiling. He pointed towards the sweets he got last time as I nodded. I went behind the counter and grabbed some gloves. I grabbed the pieces of cake he wanted from last time as I smiled at him. He waited until I entered the amount on my register before swiping his card. He signed thank you to me as I signed you're welcome back to him.
He sat down again and ate some of his sweets like last time.
-Gojo's POV-
I visited the bakery whenever I had time to as a span of a month went by. I wanted to order something different today while walking in. I asked out loud what I should try. It dawned upon me I didn't even know the girl's name. The girl pulled off her mask and signed to me I should try her favourite sweets. I smiled before nodding my head. I waited while she gathered my sweets and entered it on the register. Once I swiped my card, I stood there for a moment.
How do I ask for her name in sign language? Shit. I forgot.
I paused for a moment before asking her, "How do you ask for someone's name in sign?"
The girl stopped for a moment before pulling down her mask. She slowly signed the word name—basically a way of asking for someone's name. I attempted to repeat what she did as she kept slowly repeating her motions.
I eventually got it when the girl smiled at me. She signed out the letters of her name to me when I put the letters together.
Shizuka.
I said it was a pleasure meeting her. I introduced myself by saying my name was Satoru Gojo.
Her eyes widened for a moment. She smiled softly at me before signing it was nice to meet me. I chuckled before turning around and sitting down at a small table near the window.
I ate some of my sweets I got, noticing it began to lightly rain. It was peaceful and quiet inside the bakery.
I could almost fall asleep.
I snapped out of my thoughts to see Shizuka walking up to me. I looked at her as she was handing me an umbrella.
I thought how kind her gesture was, giving an umbrella to a customer.
"It's not raining that bad, I should be fine-"
I regretted my words as once they left my mouth, the sky seemed to prove me wrong. It was now pouring down. I chuckled to myself before accepting the umbrella from Shizuka. I told her thank you as she bowed at me.
"I'll come back soon!" I announced enthusiastically while smiling.
She smiled while rolling her eyes at me before waving me off.
-Your POV-
So that's the sorcerer's name, Satoru Gojo. I've heard about him. The prophecy child born with Six eyes and Limitless. He must be pretty powerful to have that much cursed energy for me to sense. He had this powerful aura around him as well. His height increased his aura levels and the blindfolded bandages covering his eyes made him look even more mysterious.I still wondered what colour his eyes were. Knowing he's from the Gojo clan, I knew they were probably a bright blue. For some reason, I wanted to see them myself.
~
It was a strangely busy day as multiple people kept coming in. I wondered what could be causing everyone to choose my bakery instead of someplace else. That's when I noticed a tall figure enter the bakery. It was Gojo. I pulled down my mask and smiled at him as he smiled back at me. I continued serving customers before I ended up at the last customer, Gojo. He asked for a slice of cake as I prepared it for him. I signed to him, asking if he wanted to eat his cake here or have it to go.
"I'll eat it here," Gojo said calmly.
The bakery was now empty except for Gojo and myself. I sat down at the table he was sitting at as I was across from him.
I signed Gojo a question, basically asking him why he wore his eye bandages. He didn't understand me at first as I covered my eyes with my hands and then pointed at him. He seemed to understand what I meant before chuckling.
"My eyes are too powerful for this world."
I pondered at what he meant.
Does he mean they are too powerful for this world in general or the Jujutsu world?
I disregarded my question before nodding my head, letting him know I understood.
It was silent before Gojo spoke up.
"I sense your cursed energy. You can see them too right, the curses?"
I froze. I mentally cursed to myself before trying to avoid his gaze.
He probably knows I can see curses even if I lied anyway.
I nodded my head while avoiding his gaze by staring out the window.
"So do you know about the world of Jujutsu?"
Why is he bringing this up now?
I pondered at whether I should answer his question. If I took too long to answer he will know I'm hiding something. He probably already knows I am aware of the Jujutsu world.
Better to be honest.
I shook my head in a yes motion, finally looking at him.
He stared at me before asking if I knew who he was. I sighed before signing that I knew who he was and how important he was to the Jujutsu World.
He leaned back and crossed his arms in front of his chest, smirking.
"So what's your cursed technique?"
I paused. I couldn't let him know. He obviously has ties with the Inumaki clan since he's part of the Gojo clan.
I shook my head in a no motion, signing that I won't tell him yet. He seemed intrigued by my answer as he chuckled.
"Guess I'll be coming by more often."
I was confused at his words before he stood up.
"One more thing," Gojo paused, "you look better without the mask."
I blushed at his words as he bid me farewell before leaving.
~
I thought about Gojo's words when getting ready for bed. I blushed while thinking how bold he was to say that.
When I woke up the next morning, I pondered on if I should wear my mask or not.
Maybe I'll try something different.
