𝐕𝐈𝐈𝐈 : 𝐈𝐕
Shit “Ah, sorry...”The familiar blond boy, rubbing his pained chest, grinned. You somehow find yourself smiling too. You squint your eyes, trying to remember where you've seen that smile before.
“Hehe, That's fine! I'm Aiden, by the way. Beside me is my cousin, Ben.” The mentioned male only sweated as he nodded at you, then shifted his attention to the teacher.
You nodded and grinned, then turned to the front and flipped your book. He creeped you out, but you couldn't help but sense something familiar about this certain feeling.
“Join us for lunch! I'll call for you.” He piped once again from his seat. You nodded again.
𝐗𝐈 : 𝐗𝐋𝐈
Dingg!
It was lunch time.
You and Chase were carrying your own trays as you looked for empty seats, but then she leaned into you.
“Y’know, this school does spook a little. You saw those quick glances the teacher makes at the girl in front of you?” Chase whispered to you.
You laughed lightly and your mind shifted to the familiar blond. “That Aiden is also... awfully familiar. Just something's off about it.”
Your sister hummed and raised a brow, “Try not to think about it.”
“Hey! Y/N, over here!”
Both of you looked at where the voice came from and your sister sighs.
“C'mon! Come with me.”
Chase rolled her eyes, already planned on sitting alone with you. But you pulled her by her free arm and walked over to the bunch of kids. Hell, you would not deal with this alone.
“Heyyy,” you greeted them and observed the unmistakably-deprived-of-sleep group, “You guys look so...”
“Cool, I know,” Aiden chirped with the widest grin you've seen. “You can sit with us. Just- Tyler, scoot over here,” whispering the last words to his classmate.
You stared at the grumbling brownette, and Chase insisted you both would just sit in the seats behind them and you reluctantly agreed. You sulkily stride your way behind them.
Once both of you sat down, you looked at the teens, and as you were about to strike a conversation, the boy with brown hair immediately stood up.
“So that's your plan?! You can't just let those black things hunt us down every damn night. What are the chances we'd still be alive when we almost died tonight yet alone for another year?!”
You were immediately pulled to sit back down and looked down at Chase pulling your uniform. You faintly heard the group hushing the angered teen.
You stared at each other, your minds seemed to have the same thought.
It can't be...
You leaned closer to her with a wide grin, your sister sighs, knowing where this is going
“This is going to be fun.”
Your sister shook her head, sighing as she scooped her food into her mouth.
