Ever since that night, I can't stop thinking of her. Her eyes, her voice, her white hair flowing in the breeze. I could just imagine her right next to me close to m- “JIRO WAKE UP!” I shook my head and looked up to see Trenton staring at me. I groan and sighed, “what do you want, Tree?”
“Dude why are you spacing out? Did you get suck up by someone or something?” he smirked and stared teasingly.
“Cut it with your jokes idiot!” I growl and stared deadly. Tree just laughed and slapped my back, “Im kidding! You know I love the right dude? No, but seriously, why are you spacing out.” He then tilted his head to the side and smiled. I just rolled my eyes and kept doing my shift. “None of your business.” He shrugged and then went back to work, then he said with a grin, “Hey its payday today, wanna go out f-”
“No.” I interrupted and grabbed some boxes, moving them to a different place.
“Why?”
“Because i dont want to deal with you like last time.” I growled and stared.
“What did I- Oh…”
*Flashback*
Four weeks ago, Jiro and Trenton went to the bar and had drinks. Trenton had a lot, and he got drunk:
“Jiro! I LOVE YOU! MARRY ME JIRO!” He yelled as he stood on top of a table holding a glass of beer.
“Shut up! Gosh you’re drunk….get your butt down here this instant.” He yelled, trying to get his friend down from the table. Just then, Trenton started to whine like a little child not getting a new toy at the toy shop.
“Yaaaa! JiRo don’t wove me back. Hic you meanie!” Trenton then gasped, and in a high pitch voice, he screamed, “YOU OVER THERE! Yo- GAAH!” He then fell to the ground and broke many things. So they got kicked out of the bar, and jiro had to pay the place for the damages.

*End of Flashback*
“Now come on, I wasn’t that drunk… maybe..” Trenton looks down embarassed and scoffs. I rolled my eyes and smacked his head. “You still owe me 300 bucks for paying the damages you made! Now shut it and help me finish this!” I walked out and attended customers, giving them food and other supplies. Trenton scoffed and then continued to work.
It's been a long day of work, and customers just keep on coming. The only thing on my mind is Ezra. Her sweet scent is stuck inside my head. She's just too perfect, come to think of it, the wolf hasn't bugged me all day like usually. Maybe he has learned who's in charge. By the end of the shift, I decided to go home and get some rest when I bumped into someone. It was Lennard, the most hateful person in the world. Lennard and I have been rivals since I remember. He always thinks he's better since he has the strongest curse. Everyone in town says that he's a hero, but he is just a jerkass.
“Watch it, furry! You’re blocking the way idiot.” He smirked and walked into the bar. I glared at him but cooled it off, it’s not worth fighting with him since he’s an idiot after all. The only things he has done in his life are defeat the monsters that are outside of town what a joke. I went into the forest and saw the most beautiful creature in the world. Yet I want to see her again, I must see her again. That’s it I’ve made up my mind I’m going back to that forest and I’m going to see her again. So I went home and decided to bring something for Ezra, a fresh bread from the shop that I work at. I checked twice before leaving and headed out towards the forest.
As I walked into the forest, it kept getting darker. The forest getting thicker was this another route? I didn’t recognize anything from last time. Everything kept getting confused. It seemed as if I wasn't supposed to see her today. But that wasn’t going to stop me. I kept walking straight till I was completely lost. I didn't know where I was. This is what happens when you listen to your curse and fall in love with someone who was not meant to be discovered. I kept walking for what seemed like an eternity till I finally reached somewhere. It was a waterfall. Beautiful, I have to say, but nothing to what I saw last time. But something caught my eye, which was what I wanted to see all day. It was her she was by the lagoon sitting there, beautiful just how I remembered. I was happy I finally found her, so without hesitating, I went towards her but tripped against a rock and fell to the ground. She looked up and stared with a frown before speaking, “Who’s there?” I looked up and groaned, “I think I fell for you” I teased and then looked down again. She just rolled her eyes and went to stare at the waterfall again.
