"Look at your son Mr. Kapoor!! Why did you took retirement this early?! He is still young but always busy with his work and doesn't have time for his family!!"
I was getting ready in my room to go to the presidential palace. This morning uncle called Dad and invited us to the presidential palace for the dinner, I got a little late to come home that's why Mom is angry. Getting ready I came out of my room. As I came towards the stairs I saw my sister standing there. I went towards her and asked
"Kaira why are you standing here?"
"*Sigh* Looking at our parents fighting because of their only son"
"Kaira, Please yaar atleast you try to understand!"
"Ok Ok.. Now go and talk to Mom or she'll kill someone today"
"I'm going.."
I ran downstairs and hugged Mom
"MOM... Calm down"
She glared at me and said
"Keyan.. Next time you do something like this I-"
I cut her sentence in between and said
"MOMMMM~~~~ Sorry I'll not do anything like this next time.. promise!!"
"Alright.. Now lets go!!"
Saying this she went outside and we all quietly followed her.
After a ride of 30 minutes we reached the presidential palace. Aunt and Uncle were waiting for us on the door. I touched their feet and we all came inside.
Dad and uncle talked about some political matters. I was sitting on the Sofa enjoying my own company when out of nowhere Mom and Aunt started talking about my marriage. I interrupted their conversation and said
"Mom.. Its Kaira's wedding not mine."
Mom gave me a look and Aunt said
"After Kaira its your number, So if you have a girlfriend introduce her to us!!"
Suddenly Kaira started laughing and said
"Aunt *Laugh* girlfriend? *laugh* do you really think he will has a girlfriend?"
"Haan.. hogi bhi kaise harkate to dekho iski pehle!!"
Then started Mom's never ending lecture🙂. Aunt interrupted Mom saying
"Sarika baad me daat lena isse.. Now lets go for dinner"
We were eating dinner when uncle started the topic which I wanted to avoid the most.
"Keyan.. yesterday you almost died from their attack."
"Uncle.. I'm fine"
"I know that you are fine but these attack are increasing day by day. These attacks have something related to the terrorists we have captured. The army is looking in this matter and for your safety purpose I have appointed the best commander from the special forces, Commander Alisha. She'll be on duty from tomorrow."
