The Forgotten Heiress

{Chapter:11}

Have you ever experienced that feeling when you can't see or hear anything and forget to breath? I did, I felt it when I saw her coming downstairs in that yellow dress, she was looking like a goddess descending from heaven to bless me. I wanted to hold her but the fact that I'm nothing to her, stopped me from moving.

She came downstairs and Nish di who was beside me said

"Alishaaa... Apsara lag rahi hain aap toh!!"

"Thank you diii" She replied.

"Haan dii, aapki yeh Apsara ek din meri maut ka karan banegi."  I whispered to myself and came towards dad because if I stayed there I don't know what I had done. 

I think I know my feelings now... I'm in love. I looked at her face beautiful and perfect in every way, there's just one thing missing... a smile. Maybe one day I can bring that smile on her face. 

My eyes went to her waist and I can feel my throat become dry. I decided to avoid her because I'm afraid I might do something I'll regret if I keep looking at her. 

Soon the function started and one by one people applied haldi to Kaira. It was my turn so I bent down and applied haldi on her legs, than hands and than cheeks. Then I looked at her with a smirk, I took some haldi in my hands and started rubbing them together. She saw my smirk and said

"Bhaii.. don't even think about doing anything weird today!!"

"Okay okay.. I'm not doing anything!!" I said and pinched her nose to which she made a face and I got up while laughing lightly.

After me Alisha came and applied haldi to Kaira. When she was getting up she tripped but before she can fall I held her from behind. My both hands touched her bare stomach and I felt the wave of heat ran through my body. I said

"Careful.." she stood up straight and said "Thanks" then went to stand in the corner.

Suddenly it was a little too hot. I took a deep breath and told Mom that I'm going to my room. She said "okay" and I started going upstairs. Something came in my mind and instead of going to my room I went towards Alisha's. 

I opened the door and went inside the room closing the door behind me. I can smell her in every corner of the room, but... what will happen when she will go back?

I sat on the space near the window and closed my eyes. Well what am I doing here? Maybe trying to feel her presence without her presence. 

I don't know for how long I sat there but I opened my eyes when I heard the door open. She came inside and locked the door. She went towards the mirror without noticing my presence and pulled off her dupatta unknowingly making me have the view of her cleavage. I clenched my jaw and than I saw her looking in the mirror and touch her stomach. There was haldi on her stomach which I think was there because of me. 

She looked up and our eyes met. For a few seconds we kept on looking into each others eyes than suddenly her eyes widened. She picked up her dupatta and covered her upper body with it. 

"What's the point of covering yourself now? I've already seen it all... "

I said and started taking slow steps towards her. She started backing without looking behind her and fell on the bed. I climbed the bed and bent over her. Caging her in between my arms I came close to her ear and whispered 

"What have you done to me princess?"

I lightly kissed her earlobe and than her left cheek. Coming face to face with her I can see the shock on her face. She was breathing heavily and her heartbeat was fast. 

I started stroking her cheek and looked in her eyes. My body was on fire, before I can cross my limits I got up from the bed and came outside the room leaving her in the same position. 

I almost ran towards my room. I closed the door and came inside the bathroom. Turning on the shower I stand in it feeling the coldness of the water.

The only thing that I can think about is...  Alisha. I think I have completely lost my mind, just a few days ago I was intentionally creating trouble for her because I didn't want her to stay here and be my bodyguard because she is a girl. It was my pride who forced me to behave like that, but where is it gone now? 

I've never been in a relationship before and the first girl I'm falling for is a total introvert. Will it be ok to tell her about my feelings? What if I hurt her? Should I just let her go? NO!!! I can't.. I- But what if its all just an attraction?

I stayed in the shower for at least an hour and than came outside deciding that I will keep my emotions in control because if its just an attraction, I might end up hurting her.

I dried my hairs with towel and laid on the bed for sleeping. As soon as I closed my eyes everything that happened in Alisha's room came in front of my eyes. I sit on the bed and took a few deep breaths. Its alright.. control just control. I tried to console myself and then laid on the bed again. Gladly this time I was able to get my mind off Alisha and soon my eyelids became heavy and I fell asleep. 

Currently I'm getting ready for Kaira's Mehndi. After sleeping for 2 hours I was successful in getting my mind straight. Mom strictly ordered me to not do any office work until the wedding is over so currently my Personal Assistant or should I say my best friend Raghav is taking care of the meetings. I got ready and came downstairs Nish di was busy with I don't know what because.. mujhe dikh ni ri hain vo*sigh*. Mom and Aunt was sitting with Kaira and some girls were applying mehndi in her hands. 

I scanned the hall and didn't see her, she is not here. Mom saw me and came towards me, she said

"Beta.. Can you go and call Alisha? Its already 6:30 and she is not here yet."

"Mom.. send someone else.."

"Betaa.. agr koi free hota to tujhse kehti? Now go and call her!!"

"O-Okayy I'm going!!"

Saying this I went towards Alisha's room. The door was slightly opened so I went inside without knocking.
