NESSA'S POV
so a week ago i agreed to meeting josh. jadens best friend to talk and go on a date or something like that. i really dont want to but i want to get over jaden. plus ive been feeling good about myself. i made it to recovery and i've been better. so why not finally get a boyfriend. my dad agreed to it only because jaden told him to.

i put on something normal. a sweatshirt with black shorts. i do my hair and makeup a little. i go downstairs and make me some coffee for energy. i literally chug that thing. i eat a banana and head to the living room.

"finally." jaden says to me. "yeah yeah." i smile and rolls my eyes playfully.

we hear a knock on the door. jaden goes to open it greeting josh in then closes the door.

"hey im josh." he puts his hand out. i smile and shake his hand, "nessa." he smiles back at me.

"ur even prettier than what jaden described u." he tries to make me blush and it worked. i have to admit. "thank u." i say trying to hide my big smile.

we go to an ice cream shop to get some ice cream and for the first time in forever i wasn't nervous. i liked talking to josh.

he told me about his friends, what he was like in highschool and that he just graduated. he was so goofy and smart. i was able to open up to him and i dont really do that with anybody. except

jaden.

god why am i think about jaden? im literally one a date right now and its going amazing. i love this. i like being happy. i like being able to feel like myself and not be self conscious. i dont want to think about someone that i USED to like now.

im focusing on josh. only josh.

after a few hours we get back from seeing a moving and he drives me home. around 11pm.

"thank you for a good time, i really enjoyed it." i smile. "and so did i, thank you for giving me a chance." he smiles back.

i bite my lip and look at him. he looks at me back. we both lean in and he kisses me. i kiss back knowing this was my first kiss. well my first kiss that i actually like. he grabs my cheek and we go at it for 2 minutes.

we both pull away softly and i smile.

"goodnight." he smirks kinda. "goodnight." i smile opeing the door and walk into the house.

i go to my room and lay on my bed thinking about the good time i had. i loved it.

i get up and take a warm bath. after awhile i. boiling hot water i get out grabbing a towel and wrapping it around my body. i take my hair town brushing it and then i put on my pajamas.

i lay in my bed stocking joshes tiktok. scrolling through videos hours. i eventually fall asleep.

A FEW WEEKS me and josh stars dating. he treated me so sweet and my dad approved of him so quickly after they got along well. i think im in love for real. i know its weird to say since its only been a few weeks. he gives me gifts, ive met his friends already, his sister, and i loved every moment of it.

i sound so girly i know but i think im actually in love. we are now chilling in my room just hanging out. we post a tiktok we made about a hour ago.

the reason he came over is to hang out but also wanted to talk to me about something.

"so..." he starts sounding nervous. "u can tell me josh " i say looking at him. "i was wondering if u would want to move in with me." he quickly says.

im shocked. i mean i would love to but my dad. idk.

"it will only ve 5 minutes away from where u live and we can share a room and u can get to know my friends so much better." he tries to convince me. "okay." i sigh looking down then looking back up.

"but i dont know if my dad would let me." i look at him. "i can go with u to ask." he suggested and i nod.

we go downstairs to the living room seeing my sad sit on the couch.

"heyy dad." i say weirdly. "yes?" he asks confused. "can i move in with josh?" i just ask right away. "what?" my dad responds.

"i promise i will call in and come over every day and i will be okay i swear." i try to beg. he looks at me for a few seconds. i look at josh nervously and then look back at my father. my dad looks at josh then look back at me.

"fine." he says. "wait, really?" i ask smiling. "yes." he sighs. "oh my god thank you." i hug him and he hugs back. "i love u so much." i smile. "i love u too." he says.

after all day of packing and the all of next day unpacking. i was scared. i mean im 14 and living away from my parents. it was weird but im happy. im finally happy.
