Journey to the Origin Tree

"The Origin Tree is a sacred tree, located on Kashyyyk.. The extremely rare Shyyyo Bird resides in the tree.. Wookiees climb the tree as a rite of passage.. It would indicate a spiritual connection with the tree.." Jocasta said to them.. "The Wookiees are well known as people of the trees." Eno said to them.. "They act like it too." Jade said with a giggle.. "Do you know many of them?" Cal asked her.. "A few, yeah." Jade said.. "Jade is a well travelled Jedi." Saw said with pride..

Later Cere and Cal sat talking, quietly on their own.. "It would seem she is like the shining light of the New Jedi Order." Cal said to Cere about Jade.. She laughed.. "She is a great Jedi, I will say that.. But she is not the shining light you think she is." Cere said to him.. "I heard about her time with Saw and his rebels." Cal said as they watched them together.. "She was shattered when the Jedi order fell.. I hear she faced off with Cade Skywalker, at the temple." Cere said.. "No wonder Jocasta is so protective of her.. If he is alive, and he knows where she is, we are all in danger." Cal said.. "Yes, and here we are going to Kashyyyk.. Let's hope she is not talking shit now.. If she is, the Wookiees will have no trouble turning us in." Cere said to him.. "I don't know, I have heard good things about them." Cal said.. "We'll see." Cere said.. "Then I will tell you all about it when I return." Cal said to her.. "If I am here, I got a distress call from another Jedi.. I must go and see if she needs my help." Cere replied.. "Just let Jocasta or Eno know, for me please?" Cal asked.. "I will." Cere replied..

Upon arrival on Kashyyyk, Saw was met with his crew.. "How is the situation?" Saw asked them.. "Some say it is a lost cause." Buffo replied.. "Where are the men?" Saw asked.. "This way." Buffo replied, leading him to their camp.. Jade trailed along behind him in her brown leather robes.. "Buffo tells me some of you think this is a lost cause." Saw said to him men.. There were a few mumbles around the room.. "We've lost comrades, friends, family... to the Empire! These are dark times, and yet I see the fire still burns in all of you.. The Jedi are not lost, they have just evolved.. They have come to help us once more.. Let us do this for the Wookiees, for Kashyyyk!" Saw said, raising his hand in a fist.. Cheers came from around the room.. "Now let's go and kick some Stormtroopers butts.. We will show the Empire who is number one!" Jade shouted as they all cheered again.. "Jade.. why?" Saw asked her.. "You wanted them pumped." Jade said to him.. "They would have cheered if you had done a little dance like you did for Jabba the Hutt.." Saw said to her.. "Why?" Jade asked, being smart again.. "You are so lucky I love you so much." Saw said to her as he patted her on the bottom as she walked away..

As they all gather in the bushes, to assess the enemy, they see the Empire has out their tanks.. "I see they think you are a real threat, they have brought out the big guns." Jade said to Saw.. "No, my dear, they knew we were bringing Jedi." Saw said in jest.. "So do we disarm them like Skywalker showed us?" Buffo asked Saw.. "Do we have that much amo?" Saw asked.. "Yeah.." Buffo said with a grin.. "Then let's go boys." Jade said standing.. Saw pulled her back down.. "Let Cal do it." Saw said to her.. "Why?" Jade asked.. "Because I see someone who might want to talk to you when we get them free." Saw said to her.. He then pointed to the cage they had some of the Wookiees in.. "Gungi!" Jade said with a huge smile..

So while Cal did his Jedi dance, with Jade watching, Saw and Buffo did their rebels dance with their blasters.. Buffo was over and up to the top of the tank before the Storm Troopers even realised he was there.. They found out soon enough, they all jumped up out of their tanks and ran.. "They look funny don't they, Jade?" Katooni said to her as she stood beside her.. "I thought you and Petro were staying on Tanalorr.." Jade said to her.. "We heard that Gungi was going to be here." Katooni said to her.. "There he is over there." Jade said to her.. "I hate the Empire.. Why do they do this Jade?" Katooni asked her.. "Because they are so sad and unhappy in their own lives, they have to make everyone else miserable too." Jade said to her.. "Really?" Katooni asked with a smile.. "No, they just like power over the people.. Now stop asking silly questions.." Jade replied with a giggle..
