First encounter (prologue)😱😱😱

(Btw this is the 1930s not current time when doors takes place, so they're like in there early 20s rn and screech doesn't exist yet :p)

Seek pov😈😈😈:

It's been days since I'm gotten a meal, I think I might be going crazy but the people that enter the hotel seem to be harder to catch now. I mean, there also aren't as many people coming as often as it used to be. I guess that gives me more alone time then, I should go explore the hotel, I've never been out of my corridors.

 *I stand up brushing off some dust off my body* The floors here are disgusting. *I head out of my 1st corridor continuing to inspect the rooms in front of it* I guess the entire hotel is this nasty. *I wander around until a find a large set of double doors* Fancy... what door am I on again? *I inspect the golden plate on the door that says "Door 50"* Hmm... I wonder what's inside? (This part of the story was made before the mines update from here under is after the update came out)

 *I hear a low tuned growl from inside* Woah... spooky...  *I grab the doors handle and peak inside a see an entity* Wait...? Which one is that again? Uhm... Figure I think right? I heard he was pretty strong, my sister is totally afraid of him though, I should probably avoid him don't wanna end up as a pile of goo. (Which I already am but still) I walk to him but he notices me the second I take a step, "...hi...?" I wave nervously, he panics a bit before he runs up to me and pins me on a wall before trying to bite me! I slide out of his grasp just in time, now I know why hide is scared of him... jeez, "Hey, hey, hey, it's alright I'm an entity like you! You don't gotta hurt me!"

"Oh I'm so sorry let me help you up."I say before tripping on a book and then standing up lending out a hand for the stranger, "Uhm im over here...?" I hear from behind me, "Oh I'm sorry I get my directions mixed up sometimes, since I'm blind and all but it's nice to meet you!" I pick up the other entity, "I'm Figure, who may you be?" "Uhm... I'm seek nice to meet ya." "Hello." I smile, "Sorry about trying to eat you, I thought you were a human." "Nah it's fine" I hear him get up before he grabs my hand and shakes it.

"By the way, do you know what's past these doors?" I ask figure, "Well I know there's an elevator that leads to the mines."he says replying to my question, "I've been in the mines before that's where my boyfriend lives." "You have a boyfriend?" He says kinda shocked, "Yep, his name is grumble, you ever heard of him?" "No I haven't, I don't know many people since I dont leave this room." I look around and see all the books that seem like they've been untouched for years except for the books under the section that says "braille", "Say, you got a lot of books here mind if I borrow one? You know to read while there's no one at the hotel to talk to?" "Oh yes of course! I love reading but I can't read most of the books, so if you'd like to take one I'd be glad to share!" He smiles at me, I smile back, "Well then, can I look at the choices I have to choose from?" "Oh sure! My pleasure." I look around and grab some fantasy book, dust it off and go back to Figure, "Well, I picked one out it was over at the second level of the library, I need to go though I have a tea party with my sister, nice meeting ya!"
