The man’s body falls to the ground with a loud thump, blood gushes from the hole in his head. It eventually reaches her feet.
The gun is smoking in her hand, her ears are ringing. She’s used to it by now.
“Hey? Agent Scarlett, do you copy?” Agent V’s voice echoes through the walls of the abandoned warehouse.
Seconds pass, it feels like hours.
“Agent Scar- Harmony…. Please respond!” Harmony can tell that she’s worried, it snaps her out of her daze.
She picks up the earpiece from the ground, “Copy. The target is down, mission accomplished.” She grins as she speaks. After a strenuous and exhausting mission, she can finally go home now.
She hears Agent V or Sera, her best friend, let out a deep sigh. “Never ignore me againnn!” Sera whined, “Idiot, I thought you were dead!”
She chuckled at the sound of cries and whines of her best friend throwing a tantrum through the earpiece. “It’d take a lot more than a low level arms dealer, V.” she said, reassuring her best friend.
She then switched her expression back to her poker face, “Alright let's get down to business, why’d you contact me again?”
“Mm! myesh! Shaur, uefe gotch afnew bishon!” Sera said through the earpiece, Harmony was visibly confused on what the fuck this crackhead just said, until she heard the sounds of crunching.
Ah. She must be snacking again.
She lets out a deep sigh, “V, please don't ever talk with food in your mouth,” Harmony said, trying to fight the urge to laugh. “Now tell why you contacted me without stuffing your face with food.” She groaned as she spoke. Sera quickly swallows all the chips mushed up in her cheeks before speaking.
“Ah! Sorry, honey money boo! Anyways, we both got a mission.” Sera said.
Harmony just had a bored expression on, “Oh, that’s it? You could’ve told me back at-”
“It's a code red.” Sera said plainly.
Harmony’s eyes widened, “alright, be there soon.” She quickly ends the call and rushes back to the base, also known as The Nest.

She soon arrived at an abandoned wooden house that was claimed by nature, it looked well… Rough to say the least, the walls were busted, the wallpaper was torn, the windows were shattered, and the roof had holes.
Despite its flaws, it was located in the middle of the forest where the trees blocked most of the sunlight, giving the house a fairytale-like appearance.
