Ch.12: Calming Time

"Heh~You're house is really nice!~"
"Why thank you, now, i show you your room"

Karma take Yukine to her room, it was neat and clean and a bit big.

"Wow! Thanks!"
"If you need anything, tell me, i'm next door"
"Okay!"

Karma closed the door and walked away, while Yukine just lying on her bed

'Here, no one finds me...'

Yukine turned her body to the other side

'But, Nee-chan said that she will find me...I'm scared...'

She hugged her feet, meanwhile in the apartement a little bit far across Karma's house, a shadow of a scope spotted.

"Target is on the room, no new movement yet, should i end this operation?" A sound of a girl heard from there

"Yes, thanks a lot, Aka-chan" Harune's voice answering thar girl.

At Yukine's room, while she was pondering something, her stomach growls.

"I should look for food.."

Yukine went downstairs and go to the kitchen, she started opening tge fridge.

Half of hour later, Karma went downstairs and find food is ready on the table.

"Oh, Karma-kun! Hey, i made lunch!" Yukine said walking out of the kitchen.

"I made hamburger steak! Try it!"

Karma went to take a seat and try a bite of it, Yukine was sitted there nervously.

"W-what do you think of it?.."

No answer yet.

"This..."
"This?"
"This...is...delicious.." Karma said while starring at the food in suprise.

"I'm glad you like it.." Yukine said in relieve.

The two went finish the food, and chatted a bit.

The sunset was appeared, means it was going to dark.

"Hey, i'm going to go shopping for dinner! I'm off!" Yukine said as she open the door.

"Wait!" Karma grabbed her hand, Yukine turned her head.

"...I guess i started helping you from now..." Karma said as his face became a little bit red.

Yukine just smiled, and invited Karma to tag along.

As the two walked together in the market, they spotted a big figure carrying a bag full of sweets.

"...Hm? Yukine? Where are you--"
"I think i just spotted Koro sensei.." She said as she walked toward the figure.

"Koro sensei? Is it you?"
"Nuyaa!! Hinama-san!"
"..what are you doing in that cosplay?..."
"I was buying food, this cosplay is for hiding my tentacles.."
"Eh? I thought you dont eat--"

Karma walked toward Yukine and greeted Koro sensei, and Yukine tolded what happen to Koro sensei.

"So now you living with Karma-kun?"
"Yes, since i think that will be a good choice for now.."
"..what do you mean by that?" Karma said with low voice.

As the three done talking, they waved each other and leave.

"Man, we ended up buying many stuff.."
"Its cool, is'nt it?~"
"...well--"
"Oh look! A perfect target!" Three man with big build said in front of them.

"Why what is it, people?~ you doesnt look very pleasing enough, though~" Karma said in his mocking tone.

"Watch what yer sayin' kid, we can kick---uogh!!" One of them said as he were kicked by Karma.

"Tch, people like you---hmhh!!" Yukine was about to attack when the other two get a hold of her, and stuffed her mouth.

Karma turned to see Yukine, and almost get attacked but he dogded it.

Yukine was trying to get off while her vision was blurry.

"Kuh!---" *Clang!* Yukine was free and hitted them.

"Dont understimate me, you idiots!" Yukine said as taking her staff from her jacket arm.

She started hitted them as the other one was already unconsious and the other one was still attacking her, and the last one was still fighting Karma.

The man taking out a knife and aiming it to Yukine, she dodge it by kneel a bit, the knife hitted her ribbon and ripped it, after it hitted the ribbon it were headed to Karma and hitted Karma's cheek, making it bleed, Yukine eyes went widened, the man throwed another knife.

Yukine closed her eye as she thinked something.

'I have to take this one...or someone will be hurt again...'

She were ready to take it, but she did'nt feel anything, she opened her eyes, to see Karma blocking her from the attack.

"Yo~ Yukine~ Still there?.." Karma said as he were making his arm to take the knife attack.

"Karma-kun!"

After Karma take the knife of his arm, the man falled unconsious.

"Let's go home,Yukine~" Karma said with his innocent smile, despite the bruises and the bleeding.

Yukine started to cry and hugged Karma.

"Uwaah!! Karma-kun!!"
" Now, dont cry, it's getting dark, let's go.."

They reached Karma's house, Yukine sitted at her room and healed her scars, she went down to see Karma, Karma was sleeping on the couch in sitting position.

She starred at Karma, looking at the bandages on his few body parts, her eyes was filled with tears.

"..how peaceful.."

"Karma-kun! What happen to you?!" Nagisa asked in the classroom

"Nothing much..."
"But, at least he can stopped pulling pranks to people for a bit now..."
"...Yukine~ look at this necklace~ it shiny" Karma said pointing to the necklace he held.
"Wha--, That's mine! Return it!" Yukine said as she started chasing Karma.

"Koro sensei, looks like, no matter what happen, Karma has not change yet.." Nagisa said sweat dropping.

"Yes...i feared for his life..." Koro sensei said.

"You too, Nagisa~" Nakamura said
"What do you mean?"
"It looks like you has not change yet~"
"Please dont talk about that, Nakamura-san!"

Yukine and Karma has returned to the class, and Koro sensei is going to start class.

"Then, Class..."

Koro sensei said as the class sitted down.

"Should we talked about that?"

"That?.."

The class silent for a bit, and suddenly remembered.

"Oh, the upcoming midterms next week!"

They asked each other about it and Koro sensei on the classroom.
