I wake up to my phone ringing.
I look at the time and it's 6:00.
Fuck I woke up late.
I answer my phone and it's my mom, before I can say hi or anything she says, "cami I'm, on my way with emily, to your school. can you watch her for a week while i go on a work trip?"
"uh yeah sure, but I still have classes." I tell her.
"i know, but maybe you can check up on her in between your classes?" she asks.
"yeah of course. when are you gonna be here?" i ask her as I'm getting up and grabbing my uniform out my closet.
"im gonna be there in about 30 minutes." she says.
"okay I'll be in my room." i say.
"okay, thank you sweetie. i should be back by Sunday." she thanks, and informs me.
"your welcome mom. what's emi doing right now?" I ask.
"shes sleeping." my mom says.
"okay, bye I'll see you when you get here." i say to her.
"bye cami, I love you mi amor." she says sweetly.
"i love you too mami." I say before hanging up.
Emily also known as emi is my 12 year old sister. I haven't seen her since school started so I'm honestly excited.
other than Renee, she's my best friend.
none of my friends have met emi so I have to introduce them.
I walk into my bathroom and when I get in there my phone rings.
so I walk back in my room and answer the phone with my phone this time. walking back to the bathroom.
"cami, did you know emi is coming!" paloma said sounding excited through the phone.
"yes I did, we have to hang out with her this weekend." I say as I get undressed.
I turn on the shower and I say, "p, im about to get in the shower so let's talk at lunch."
"okay later cami, te amo." paloma says through the phone.
"te amo." i say before hanging up and turning on music before hopping in the shower.
when I get in it's nice and hot, just how I like it. i sigh as the water makes contact with my skin.
i take a 20 minute shower.
I get out and check the time and it's 6:25 so I have 5 minutes until emi gets here.
I love my sisters so much.
I wrap myself in my towel and walk out the bathroom.
i get dressed and once I'm done i dry my hair.
as I'm doing so I get a knock on my door.
i jump up immediately and I run to the door.
when I open it I see, emi!
"emi!" I shout with a lot of enthusiasm.
"cami!" she shouts matching my tone.
"i missed you so much!" i say pulling her in for a hug.
"i missed you too!" she says hugging me tightly.
"ahem." my mom clears her throat.
i break my hug with emi and hug my mom just as tight.
