Wanda POV:
"Was she outside by now?" I asked, walking into the living room. A few heads turned to look at me before several quiet 'no's were heard. I sighed and looked around for Natasha, but I couldn't find her, so I walked down to the training, only to be met with an empty gym. I made my way up the floors, getting to Natasha's bedroom. On the way up, everything that happened ran through my head once again. How y/n didn't hesitate to protect both Natasha and me. Even if it meant that she had to end her sister. The days after it happened were quiet. We got our wounds treated and recovered. Y/n stayed in her room or on the roof most of the time. She didn't speak to anyone or at all and only came out for the funeral, which was a week after it happened. Now, another week has passed, and y/n never came out of her room after the funeral. She locked herself up. Never came down to eat or talk or anything else.

I knocked on the wooden door of Natasha's room. It only took a few seconds before it opened, and the tired looking redhead stood in front of me. "Hi Maximoff." She smiled weakly before opening the door wider for me to enter. I took a seat on her bed while she let herself fall into the beanbag in the corner beside the window. "Do you know if anyone has checked on y/n after the funeral?" I spoke quietly and watched as Natasha thought for a moment before she shook her head from one side to another. "I don't think so. Why?"

"I have a bad feeling." I confessed. Natasha tilted her head for me to go on, so I did. "I know that she needs time after everything, but this morning I woke up and had this really strange feeling that something was really wrong and none of us has seen her for a week now." I explained and could literally see the worry in Nat's eyes. "Then we should go check on her. Now." She rasped. I stood up from the bed and watched as Nat wasn't able to get out of the beanbag. I suppressed a chuckle, which didn't go unnoticed by her. "A little help, witchy?" She huffed, stretching out her hands.

I helped her up before we got out of her room and started walking towards y/ns, which wasn't too far away. I started knocking on the door while Natasha stood behind me. I felt her eyes staring down at me as I could feel her worry. I knocked again but still didn't get an answer. "Y/n? It's me, Wanda. Sweetheart, can you open this door, please?", "Should we break it?" Natasha muttered behind, I turned around for a second and gave her a classic 'mum-look' which she understood. I knocked again, but still, no answer. After a few minutes, I decided that it was enough and stepped back. "Jarvis, can you open this door, please?" I called out into the air. "Miss Maximoff, I don't think I'm allow-", "Jarvis open this fucking door! It's an emergency!" Natasha lashed out, interrupting the AI. A few seconds later, a clicking sound was heard, and I tried pushing down the handle, which worked and the door opened. I used my right hand to slowly push the door further open. The room was dark and a complete mess. It looked like there was a fight in here, but I could already think of what happened here. I slowly entered the room as Nat continued standing in the door frame. I turned around to look at her and saw a mixture of worry and fear. Y/n was laying in bed facing the other side of the room, so I walked around the bed to get to her.

"Hey, sweetheart." I cooed, kneeling down in front of her. She wasn't sleeping, but also wasn't really awake as she was just staring in front of her. I noticed the bags under her eyes and how dry her skin became, so I waved Natasha over as I got up. "We have to get her up, she needs hydration and food."

"Yeah, and maybe a bath." Nat raised an eyebrow, making me slap her shoulder. "Ow! Okay!" Shaking my head, I walked to the window and slightly pulled open the curtains to let some light into the room. I opened the door before I turned and looked around the room. One specific thing caught my eye. A few shards on the ground. From a vase and what looked like a picture frame. I looked around some more and saw some dried red liquid close to the shards. "Oh god." I muttered, catching Natasha's attention. "What?" She asked in a whisper, so I pointed to the stains on the ground. Her eyes went wide for a second, and she rushed past me, over to y/n. She shook y/n slightly and started to help her up. "Wanda, help me!" I got on the other side of the bed and pulled y/n up. We checked her for any cuts and found some old shirt or whatever that was, wrapped around the palm of her left hand. "What happened here, y/n?" I asked her, brushing some hair out of her face. But I didn't get an answer.

I held her body up from behind as Nat carefully unwrapped her hand and looked at the already infected cut on it. "Okay, let's not start panicking. Will you get some supplies for her hand and an infusion so we can get her hydrated? I will run her a bath and get her clean." Natasha nodded hesitating, but let go of the girl anyway, and started walking out of the room. I laid her down once again to walk into the bathroom and turn on the faucet of the bathtub. I got out some towels and walked back into the room to get fresh clothes. After setting everything up, I got y/n out of the bed and helped her walk into the bathroom. "Is it okay for me to undress you?" I asked gently. It took a few seconds, but I received a nod from her, so I undressed her carefully and helped her get into the warm water. While she was in the bathtub, I decided to clean the room a bit. Of course, I used my magic, so it would go faster. The shards of glass, gone with one snap of my fingers. Stuff that laid on the ground also found it's way to their previous place with one snap of my fingers. I put fresh sheets on her bed as well as fresh bed linen and closed the window so it wouldn't be too cold.

The door opened, and Nat walked in, her hands full with the supplies we needed. "Can you wait here, and I get her out of the bath?" I walked back into the bathroom, closing the door behind me.

Nat POV:
I sat down on the end of Y/n's bed as Wanda was in the bathroom helping y/n. I was resting my elbows on my knees as I waited. The worry blocking my head made it impossible to think of something else.

After 15 or so minutes, the bathroom door opened. Wanda walked out very slowly with an arm wrapped around y/n. Wanda helped her lay down in bed and called me over to give the infusion. She connected it to y/ns arm and made sure it wouldn't come off. "It's getting dark outside. I will go down and make dinner." She announced, walked to the door. I followed her, "I think i will stay here for a bit longer. You know, make sure she's okay." I muttered as I leaned against the door frame, crossing my arms over my chest, "Yes, of course, I will bring you guys dinner later." She smiled cheekily at me and walked away.

I quietly closed the door and walked over to the bed, getting in. I kept a distance between us as I laid there, but it didn't take long before y/n turned around and cuddled into me. I wrapped my arms around her, my movements slow. "Why are you still here?" She asked. It sounded desperate like she was about to cry. Her voice was very raspy from not being used for so long.

I tightened my grip around her slightly, wanting to make sure she's okay. "I didn't want you to be alone."
