Behind Lila and William's desire for revenge on Ethan traces back to a tragic event from their past, one that left them scarred and seeking retribution.

Years ago, Ethan was involved in a car accident that resulted in the death of Lila's younger sister and William's best friend. The accident shattered their lives, leaving them consumed by grief and anger over the senseless loss.

As they struggled to cope with their pain, Lila and William became convinced that Ethan was responsible for the accident, blaming him for the tragedy that had torn their lives apart. Despite Ethan's protests of innocence, they refused to believe that it was anything other than deliberate.

Fuelled by their thirst for vengeance, Lila and William hatched a plan to make Ethan pay for what they believed he had done. They orchestrated a series of elaborate schemes, manipulating events and people to manipulate Ethan into their web of deceit.

Lila, in particular, saw Ethan as a means to an end, using his trust and affection to further their agenda of revenge. She wormed her way into his life, pretending to be his friend while secretly plotting his downfall.

But as their plan spiraled out of control and innocent lives were lost, Lila and William's thirst for revenge only grew stronger. They became consumed by their desire for retribution, willing to do whatever it took to make Ethan pay for the pain he had caused them.
