As you walked, the only sound that filled your ears was the satisfying crunch of the snow beneath your boots. Your thick astronaut suit was the only thing standing between you and the biting cold, providing a sense of comfort and warmth amidst the frozen, desolate landscape.

JcJenson In Spaaaaacee (yes, spelled like that) has appointed you to embark on a mission to explore the ruins of Copper 9 and report back with regular updates on your findings.

Spoiler alert, you underestimated how cold it was over there.

Now you find yourself in a dire situation, shivering uncontrollably and frantically rubbing your arms with your hands in a desperate attempt to generate warmth. The bitter cold seeps into your bones and you can feel the icy grip of hypothermia tightening around you. You pray silently that you will make it through the freezing night alive.

As you let out a deep sigh, you couldn't help but question why the higher-ups believed that an intern like yourself could handle a job of this magnitude. The last time you were given a task, you were tasked with fixing a worker drone, but to your dismay, its head comically blew up in your face.

Holy crap you sucked at this.

You were surprised you weren't fired yet.

As you gazed up through the slightly misty visor, your eyes fixated on a towering structure that seemed to be out of sync with its surroundings. However, the more you looked, the more it felt like an integral part of the landscape as if it had always been there, looming over everything else.

As you stood there, staring at the ominous figure in front of you, a voice inside your head urged you to flee. Yet, despite the feeling of unease that had settled deep in your stomach, you inexplicably found yourself taking hesitant steps forward. Maybe it was curiosity that drove you, or perhaps the hope of finding something—

*BOOM!*

As you walked through the snowy terrain, a sudden and strong gust of wind hit you hard, throwing you off balance and causing you to fall flat on your back. Despite the unexpected blow, the soft snow beneath you cushioned your landing. As you tried to regain your composure, you propped yourself up on your elbow and looked around to see what could have caused such a powerful gust of...

As you were lost in thought, your attention was suddenly drawn to a looming figure with massive wings. Your initial reflex was to move away, but you found yourself frozen in place as a pair of piercing eyes glared down at you. The eyes were illuminated by a menacing yellow 'X', and the creature's grin revealed a set of razor-sharp fangs that sent shivers down your spine.

"Please... Whatever you are... Don't do this! I... I got a family to go back to!"  You begged, raising your hands in a bad attempt to calm them down.

"Ahaha..."  As they giggled, their head lifted, revealing their short grayish-white hair. The more you looked at their face, the more you noticed their unique features. "That terror in your face... You must be sooo scared, aren't you?" The voice had a distinctly feminine quality that felt both artificial in its attempt to be reassuring and unsettling in its effect on the listener.

As you watched in awe, they extended what appeared to be their hand towards you, but as their fingers unfurled, you saw something unexpected - a rifle. It was as if their arm had transformed into a weapon right before your eyes. You couldn't help but feel a sense of shock and unease at the sudden appearance of such a dangerous instrument.

"No... NO... PLEA—"

As your eyes closed, you were jolted by a deafening noise and blinded by a sudden flash of light. In the next moment, everything went completely dark and silent. That was the last thing you could recall.
