Dani, Eva, Sergio and Lidia stood in front of her, eyes watering at the sight of their best friend leaving.

"I love you so much, remember that Betty" They were all hugging her while saying goodbye, when her plane was called.

"I will miss you guys so much, it's going to be a boring summer without you all" She said sadly, her friends wrapped her in yet another hug, before letting her go and watch her walk away.

Luz grabbed her hand "Are you excited?" she said looking at her daughter, "Yes, it's going to be fun" Betty said looking at her mother while smiling.

On the fifth day since they arrived to this new life Betty was woken up by cold water being thrown at her face, she let out a scream and got up, the sound of her mother's laughter and footsteps being the first thing she heard which made her smile.
She arrived to the kitchen where her mom returned to make breakfast while listening to music.

"Cariño you have to go to the school today to get yourself registered" She said while putting down a glass with orange juice "Drink it fast or the vitamins will go away"
Betty rolled her eyes while drinking it "We are going together, right?" She looked at her mother who made a face "I'm sorry darling i have to go to the office today, it's my first day".
Betty slumped herself dramatically against the table "So i have to go alone? this is hell" She said dramatically against the table.
"I have to leave in 15 minutes if you hurry up i can drop you off in the school?" Betty looked up and saw her mother stressed out. "Nah it's okay mamá i will go and explore the city a little bit, and by the way, good luck on your first day, i love you".
