'i don't care what levi says, i'm talking to that girl.' jude thought as he tried to look away from dahlia and failed miserably. he felt as if there was something magnetic about her, something that made him unable to look away. not that he wanted to anyway. dahlia was perhaps the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen and if he didn't speak to her, he knew he would forever beat himself up over it. "have any of you seen mase? i haven't got to say happy birthday to him." jude asked his brother and trent who were stood beside him.
"yeah he's with noni and they're catching up. but i don't think that's your main concern, you keep eyeing up levi's cousin dahlia. don't think we haven't noticed." jobe teased and trent chuckling in response.
"shut up!" jude hissed, nodding his head to levi who was within earshot to the trio and was now glaring at jude. "and i wasn't eyeing her up, my eyes just seem to like looking at her....?" he tried to defend himself and failing miserably.
"does he actually expect us to buy that?" trent whispered to a laughing jobe.
"i don't know because he's stupid like that so maybe he did." jobe laughed harder at the frown on jude's face.
"i hate you both." jude mumbled, causing the boys to laugh at him harder. "also so what if i was eyeing her up? she's gorgeous." jude retorted, his brain not even registering what he had just said.
"you heard that levi? he thinks your cousin is 'gorgeous'." jobe teased, wanting to cause drama between the two of them.
"shut up you twat! stop instigating!" jude hissed as levi glared at him.
"didn't i tell you not to talk about her jude?" levi asked, his jaw slightly clenched.
"no you actually told me not to talk to her. you said nothing about talking about her." jude smiled, proud of himself for finding a loophole.
"please don't play with me right now. don't talk to her or about her. don't even think about her. don't even look at her. because i know once you fall down that rabbit hole, you'll talk to her and end up getting her hurt. not. happening." levi ranted.
"alright man i get it! i won't say anything!" jude exclaimed in defence. 'i don't get it and i don't care.' he thought to himself, making eye contact with dahlia and smiling at her, receiving her beautiful, dimpled smile in response.
unfortunately for jude, levi noticed that and swatted his arm, "what the fuck did i just say?"
"alright i'm sorry!" jude raised his arms in defence with jobe and trent chuckling at their friend. "i'm gonna go up to mase and wish him a happy birthday. you guys wanna come with?"
