although she wanted to, dahlia couldn't take her eyes off jude, who had some girl sat on his lap. she didn't want to look at it any longer as she knew it would irk her but she didn't even have a solid reason why it would irk her. it just did. there was something about jude flirting with her only to be sat flirting with another girl only a few feet away after dahlia had just rejected him, that set her off. but she had to get over the feeling of a pit forming at the bottom of her stomach while seeing jude with that girl, because she didn't even know him, alone like him. matter of fact, she couldn't stand him, so why continue to think about him?
"hey skai?" she asked as she walked back from where mason and maeline were talking.
"yeah liaaaa." skai drunkenly dragged out, marcus staring at her with pure affection in his eyes.
"you feeling good skai skai?" marcus whispered into his girlfriends ears, noticing how slurred her words are and her eyes were practically shut.
"i'm fine beans don't worry about me." she whispered, or at least attempted to in her drunken state. "what did you want lia?"
"i was gonna ask you if you've seen levi or harms, but now i'm gonna ask you if you drank even more." dahlia stated, sitting on the couch next to a napping leilani and a bored kobbie.
"i can't see levi but harms is over there, dancing with that guy. do you see him?" skai informed, slightly loudly, causing leilani to stir in her sleep and dahlia to wince.
"i see him. and also you're speaking kinda loudly." she responded, approving of harmony's choice of dance partner and rubbing leilani's back to get her to sleep, before turning to kobbie. "i'm assuming she had more to drink and marcus had to stop her?" she whispered to him, observing that marcus had his arms tightly wrapped around skai.
"yeah pretty much." kobbie chuckled and dahlia joined. "also, look at you being a good wingman. getting them two together." he praised, moving his head towards mae and mason.
"what can i say? it's what i do." dahlia cockily replied, with kobbie rolling his eyes in response.
"ok relax. you'd think i called you cupid or something." he grumbled.
"whatever. have you seen levi? he's my ride home and i'm already getting kinda bored." she groaned.
