"Hello Mother"
"Jeongguk, we'll be coming to see you tomorrow. Get the house nice and clean. I'll see you tomorrow."
And with that, she hung up the phone. "What was that about?" He turned to Taehyung, who had already fallen asleep. Jeongguk chuckled and settled down next to him. He drifted off to dreamland.
~The Next day~
Jeongguk wakes up to the aggressive ringing of his doorbell and walks downstairs. He lazily opens the front and asks "Who is it" as he rubs his eye.
"Jeongguk, it's us." He hears a voice his eyes shoot open and his sleep vanishes.
"Fuck, they were going to come today. I forgot.......Taehyung" He says as a gasp escape's his lips.
"Jeongguk-ah, let us in" His mother demanded impatiently.
"Uhh...Yes, come in." Jeongguk hesitated as he opened the door wider.
He was secretly hoping Taehyung would not wake up anytime soon. His mother walked in, placed her bags on the centre table and sat down on the sofa with a serious look on her face.
"So, how is your new school? Have you caught up on all of the work?"
"Yes Mother"
"I'll be expecting perfect grades from you this semester."
"When do you not?" He mumbled under his breath.
Abruptly, he heard his bedroom door open and footsteps coming down the stairs.
"Ggukie, why are you up so early on a Saturday?" Taehyung walked down the stairs.
He looked at his parents, anxiety settling at the bottom of his stomach. They turned their head to look at Taehyung, who simply walked over to the kitchen counter and filled a glass of water, not noticing the introduction of two figures sitting in their living room.
When he finally noticed, he almost spit his water out.
"Jeongguk, who is he? And what is he doing in our house?" Jeongguk's mother asked with an angered expression. Jeongguk motioned Taehyung to come over, he slowed set the glass down and sat down next to Jeongguk.
"This is Taehyung." Taehyung passed them a smile, "What is he doing in our house?"
"Umm...he lives here. He had some family issues, and his house had to be sold, so I offered to help" Jeongguk said tentatively, not giving away too much information.
"JEON JEONGGUK, YOU CAN'T DO STUFF LIKE THIS WHEN WE'RE NOT HOME! WE HAVE NO IDEA WHO THIS BOY IS AND HE'S ALREADY MOVED IN WITH YOU! YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED PERMISSION BEFORE LETTING SOMEONE MOVE INTO OUR HOUSE!" His mother burst out, throwing her expensive Gucci bag to the side.
Suddenly, he heard the sound of the front door opening and his father walked in, dressed in a suit.
"What's wrong, dear? Why are you shouting?" He questioned as he set down his bags.
"Jeon Jae-Young, your son is getting out of control. He has given this middle-class boy permission to move into our house, without consulting either of us first."
His mother narrated to his father, as she rubbed her temples.
"Son, this is utterly unexpected. You can't just let a random stranger, especially a commoner move into our house." His father said as he sat down on the sofa.
Jeongguk was starting to get angry at the names they were calling Taehyung. Jeongguk looked at Taehyung asking for permission through his gaze and Taehyung gave him a slight nod indicating it was okay. He gave Jeongguk a slight smile.
