"Is she doing okay?"
"How would even know if this works in the future?"
"She Is doing okay her body just fainted from lack of energy ."

Aurora pov:
I heard strange noises like people standing over me mumbling, I can't tell if this is a fantasy or reality.

All I know is that I can't move like I'm stuck in a trance or some sort of loophole that I can't escape.

I feel a presence in my room just lingering in the darkness, I don't know what is it. I don't know what to do.

It's coming closer, and closer, and RINGGGG

I open my eyes I look at my nightstand I read the clock
5:30 am. It's still dark outside.

I adjust my eyes to the darkness and look around at my surroundings. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

I grab my phone on the nightstand and turn on my lamp. I still hope Theodore has his lamp we got them together at the beach.

I turn on my phone disabling my alarms for the day and start getting ready to head back to BlueBrooks.

I really did Miss the town but I just had to get away too much guilt, pressure, too much anxiety.

I looked at the time after I finished getting ready 7:53am BlueBrooks wasn't a long drive so I stopped for breakfast along the way.

At my favorite diner, BlueBay diner they had the best pancakes in town I remember coming in everyday for my daily order.

A egg cheese sausage breakfast sandwich with a orange juice on the side.

The diner was quit empty in the mornings you have the typical routines the kids off at school learning nonsense like why do I need to know yb+m Ms Micheals. And the adults drinking their morning coffees while finishing their paperwork while trying to not lose their sanity.

As I arrived at the diner I was greeted by the hostess Deliah
"Aurora no Time no see, where you been loca?" I chuckled at her greetings.

"Deliah I told you to stop quoting twilight that saga is already cringy enough" I walked to my usual seat at the diner while Deliah got my usual order ready.

"Twilight is everything team Jacob" Deliah was in the back giving the cook two other orders told you this place is a ghost town in the mornings.

I looked out of the window of the diner it was a foggy April morning the birds chirping and honey dew on the green grass while the water from the sprinkler is spinning around.

I still wonder am I going to solve this case or let the town down again. I let Riley Stevens down.

I was too sucked into my imagination until Deliah placed down my breakfast at the wooden table.

"You okay loca? Deliah sat down across the table from sympathy filled her eyes

"I'm just thinking, about all this murders I mean I became a detective to help people but I realized that not everyone can be saved and I can't save them." I began to wonder.

" Would those two girls still be alive if I was here?" Would Riley still be alive"I looked in Deliah's eyes

"Aurora it's not you're fault it's not anyone's fault but that one person's" Deliah said

"DELIAH!, STOP CHIT CHATTING AND COME GET THESE ORDERS". the old cook said from the back.

Deliah rolled her eyes, as she got up to go collect the orders she spoke to me "Just promise me one thing."
