It's been about 2 weeks since I ran out on Grey, he has been blowing my phone up ever since. I just can make myself pick up for him. Lord knows that I wanted it and so needed it but it was just too much too fast. I hadn't seen or heard from him in six years and all those feelings came back like a ton of bricks and I was having a hard time processing my feelings. I know that I still love him but I don't know if I can go back. From the conversation we had I can tell he isn't the same G for all those years ago but it's just gonna take me some time to let my guard down and let him back in.
I was making my way through the airport to baggage claim to get my luggage. I stayed in Hot Springs an extra week just so I didn't chance running into Grey. Lori told me how he came up to the pharmacy every day for a week to see if I was there. I'm glad she told him I was still out of town and was probably busy. I grabbed my luggage and headed out to where Lori was picking me up.
Lori, rolling the window down yelling "Will you hurry yo ass up u see I'm double parked hell" I roll my eye "I'm coming hell don't rush me". I put my luggage in the truck and we head out the airport is an hour away from my house so Lori and I talk about all the new things that I learned and will be implementing at the location back home. We got about halfway through the drive when she looks at me and bust out Laughing, so bitch you really let him finger fuck you and yo ass got up and ran out.
Laughing fuck you Lo, I didn't know what else to do my emotions were all over the place, and on top of that I was tipsy hell my first thought was to run bitch, and we both bust out Laughing.
Lori, naw bitch yo first thought should have been to let that man fuck the shit out of you hell 🤣.
Tima, naw Lori yo ass was the one that told me to go and stand on business and don't do anything I don't want to do.
Lori, you're right I did but why you took that time to listen to me hell any other time yo ass wouldn't have listened.
Tima, I know, I just, I don't know I was enjoying everything the conversation, the catching up, we were laughing and joking like old times. The vibe was good you know, I was just in my head I see the change in him I do but I'm just not ready to go back there with him just yet.
Lori, I understand T I do just take your time and see where things go and get to know each other all over again.

As I look out the window my mind wonders about the what-ifs, and if I'm ready to let G back in.
We finally pulled up to my house Lori turned her trunk off and was getting out, where are you going I asked her.
Lori, I'm spending the night where u think I'm going, as she proceeds to get her bag out of the back seat.
Whatever I tell her, hell come on I guess u can stay yo ass don't ever want to go home.
Nope, I love it here we both laugh as we head inside.

As I was showing and getting ready for bed I heard my phone go off I knew it could only be one person, so I finished with my shower and did my night routine. Got in bed and reached for my phone off the nightstand.
Tima, Hey, G it's late we can meet for lunch tomorrow. I pressed send and didn't wait for a response before I put my phone on DND and went to sleep.
It was around 10 Saturday morning before I woke up I tossed and turned all night G was all I could think about.
Lori comes in my room T Aye you up knocking on the door, Yea I'm up you can come in, she comes in and gets in bed with me we talk about what we gonna do today and make plans for later, I tell her I was meeting G for lunch so we could catch up later.
Lori, so you gonna go to lunch with him,
Tima, yeah I've had time to process all this and I'm ready to see what this can be I don't want to move too fast tho.
Lori, yeah I understand just take ur time and listen and just see where his head is, and like I said don't do anything that you are not ready for.
Tima, I hear you we finish our little conversation and we get up ready to start the day. Lori heads home while I fix me some coffee and some toast to hold me over till lunch.

I let out a breath as I was getting up off the couch, time to go get dressed. I make my way upstairs and turn on some music to help get me going. As I head to my closet to try to find something to put on, keep it simple Tima I say. I finally decided on a cute little maxi dress, I give my face a light beat and head out.
The drive to the spot was a short one the traffic wasn't bad for a Saturday afternoon. I find a parking spot and head in as I enter the diner I'm looking around for G only to find him hugging some bitch smiling all hard and shit. As I make my way over "so this what we doing"
