This past year my life has been a dream. I travelled the world for my 'emails i can't send tour', I supported my idol Taylor Swift on the eras tour with more shows to do next year and i've become friends with the players of the football club i have supported since i was young.
Me and Ale have been friends for a couple months now and I couldn't be happier, although, i do have feelings for him and the mixed signals i'm receiving back aren't helping. One minute he's calling me 'amiga' and the next it's 'gorgeous'. I've noticed our fans want us to get together and I couldn't agree more, every time we're seen together our names are making headlines in every newspaper possible.
However i'm snapped out of my (almost spiralling) thoughts when the players walk onto the pitch. I only got back from the eras tour 3 days ago and i've already traveled to Istanbul to see United play Galatasaray. As the players stood, me and Ale made eye contact and i gave him a thumbs up and a wink which he returned.
Me and my best friend, Nailea were watching almost anxiously, but 11 minutes in Ale scored the first goal and our side of the stadium erupted into cheers. He ran towards the Galatasaray fans and did his celebration, not forgetting to point in my direction because goddamn he knows how to make me swoon.
Half time soon came and i was scrolling aimlessly on my phone, I wasn't too worried as we were 2-1 up.
"You know he likes you right?" Nailea says, nearly whispering it due to our close proximity with the rest of the fans. I turn my head to face her and sigh.
"I know it looks like it and I kinda think he does but he's giving me mixed signals," I say while holding eye contact.
"No like genuinely, he likes you. He told Rasmus and Rasmus told me," she replies, her face oddly calm to say she was telling me possibly the best news of my life.
"And why am i only just hearing about this?" I ask with a loud gasp.
"He told Rasmus not to tell anyone, I was trying to keep it a secret" she says with a giggle and I feel my self physically relax, relief and joy are all I feel as I realise we could actually be together.
The match ends 3-3 but I don't mind it, it's better than a loss after all.

After the match, Ale, Rasmus, Laura (Rasmus' girlfriend), Kobbie and Nailea decided to come back to my apartment. The others were talking in the living room as me and Ale spoke in the kitchen.
"So Nailea told me something today.." I say to him with a smirk.
"What did she tell you?" he looks at my face curiously, pulling a confused face as he sees my smirk, "and why are you smirking at me like that?" he asks, smirking slightly as well.
"Nothing important.." i say nonchalantly "just that you like me," my smirk grows as i say it.
"Oh my god," he replies, blushing immediately and hiding his face in his hands "I told Rasmus to keep that to himself"
"No don't be embarrassed," I laugh, "i've liked you for ages" i run my hand over his back as he lifts his head.
"I was planning on asking you to be my girlfriend, it was gonna be way more romantic than this," he laughs nervously, referring to the atmosphere, here in my apartment surrounded by our tipsy friends instead of out in a romantic restaurant like he had planned it.
"Well i'll be your girlfriend anyway," I reply, trying to smile to cover how nervous i am in this moment.
"Yeah?" he said with a smirk, bringing his face closer to mine and I can't hold back any longer as I kiss his lips gently. He kisses back and it feels like heaven, i've been waiting for this for so long. We pull away as we hear a cough and turn to see Kobbie stood with his arms crossed, smirking.
"We were just sat on the sofa discussing how long it would take for you two to get together and i walk in on you snogging?" he says with a laugh, as the others shortly enter the room, realising what had just happened between us and they all cheer. Me and Ale both laugh at their antics as I pull him into a hug, enjoying this moment with our tipsy friends.
