On a dark night, the forest was illuminated by the moonlight. In the midst of the dense forest, there was a hot water pond emitting steam. In the middle of the pond, a girl stood, enjoying the hot water that she had always dreamt of being in.
Her wet translucent cotton saree stuck to her body like a second skin, doing nothing to hide her skin beneath.
A man came behind her holding her from back. His hands slowly moved on her stomach softly and sensually making her take a deep breath and tremble in his touch. She felt his head in the crook of her neck, his breath falling making her arch it. Shivers ran through her body. She felt hot. Not because of the hot water but because of his hot act.
Suddenly his left hand caught her hair in a firm grip pulling her head backwards. His lips moved from her shoulder to her right ear without touching her skin. His proximity and breath falling on her skin were enough to make her feel shivers. He surely knew what he was doing. Her lower abdomen started to feel weird. Was it paining? He arches her head more making her face him. Their eyes locked. breathing fanning on each other's faces as they both breathed heavily. Seems like he is going to kiss her. He moved closer to hers and her eyes opened.
A dream? Woh! That was, that was hot. She could not see the face of the man but it felt like it was him. The man she saw was the same man she saw a few hours back. He, who took her heart with just a glance.
A few hours back when the girls were about to enter their allotted tent when a strong voice stopped them making them turn.
"Who are you all? We did not see any of you before on this journey." A tall, tanned, and handsome man asked. His voice held suspension. There were four men in total. All of them looked well-built, strong, tuff, and handsome. In them, her eyes froze on that one man who held calmness on his face. His aura felt calm, peaceful, and sweet. Though he was as handsome as the other three men but there was something in him. His eyes landed on her and a shiver ran down her spine. His eyes were different. It didn't match with his aura. They were radiating something else that she was not able to understand. Her mind and heart felt this man as a warning. A warning to stay away from him but she felt a strong pull toward him which her heart and mind were not able to deny and accepted their defeat.
She never believed in love at first sight but her heart spoke, 'I love him!'
"And how does that matter to you?" Asked an irritated Agraja.
Smarnika sensing her irritation and to not let any unnecessary attention on them replied that they joined the journey today and this tent was allotted to them by the head priest of this pilgrimage journey. And also notified that they would be staying in the same arrangement tent at every stop on their journey as per the instructions provided to them.
The men knew this common arrangement of the tent was placed to not let the pilgrims waste time in looking or different times.
One of the men who looked more authoritative took a glance at their trolly bags. Nodding his head, they all entered their tent which was just beside the girls in a distance of ten steps.
Hrudaya moved to enter the tent and saw Ojasi's head covered with a veil. 'When did she cover it and why?' Hrudaya wondered.
The tent was tiny but could manage the four girls. It was dark inside. Though there were lamp placement but they didn't know how to ignite fire without a match stick or lighter. Having no option they stayed in the dark.
