"Stop it! Stop arguing! I can't make decisions don't make me choose when neither is a good option!" She screamed, holding her head in her hands.

"What have we done..." Bruce sighed.

"Probably started the end of the fucking world." Jason grunted.

"I don't want to go with either of you!"

The air felt as if it were vibrating.

Ladyblanche looked back. A pure and innocent smile on her face... So different to the energy she gave off that it was unnerving.

"I want to be loved and acknowledged... Why must I take orders like a pet?" Her broken voice whispered, sounding like a lonely child.

Damien blinked and she was in front of him, her nose almost touching his. "Brother what are you doing here?" She asked, her voice with such a gentle tone...

Damien jumped and fell back in surprise, he was completely speechless.

She giggled.

Giggled.

She shrugged at the lack of answer.

"Marinette I -"

She turned away and for a moment they thought she was about to leave.

Then the next thing they knew, her claws were millimeters from piercing Thalia's eyes.

Only thing that saved her was Viperion, who had already activated second chance and was barely able to tackle her away in time.

Thalia still ended with a fairly deep scratch on her forehead.

It was so fast she couldn't even react.

"What... just -"

"Everything about her is enhanced..."

Marinette laughed, a bright smile appearing on her face. One no one had seen from her. Her eyes wide with excitement. "I can do anything I want! I can be a kid! Hey Luka let's play hide and seek!"

"Melody please, where's the akuma?"

"Lu you want to take away my freedom too?" She pushed him off of her and sat cross-legged, with a pout. "I'm disappointed. I thought you were different."

Jason felt conflicted... She was so... Childlike... Genuinely seeming like a child who wanted to play... Not a villain who wanted to play with people in a malicious way not like the joker... Her smile was different than his yellow grin. He didn't know much about what the butterfly miraculous did... But he knew it made the victim's biggest want more prominent. She just wanted to be a normal kid... It had been a long time since he hated Bruce or Thalia this much.

Dick had the overwhelming want to hug her as she cried... Not that she'd ever openly cried with him around before.

Slade Wilson had finally wriggled his way free and tried to make a break from it.

Without batting an eye, Lady Blanche threw a cataclysm at him. It hit him square in his back and he let out a genuine cry of agony. One which he was trained not to let out... For something to wrench that from him?

One could only imagine the pain.

Slowly his flesh began to crumble from his bones and turn to ash. His final plea before death was a reach of the hand before it too, crumbled.

Steph struggled not to puke.

Everyone there stared in silence.

It had always been a silent question... What would happen if a cataclysm went against a human...

No one wanted to know anymore.

She smiled sweetly. "Problem solved yes?"

"Y-you killed..." Chloe stared, everyone knew Marinette had killed before... But she barely batted an eye...

Marinette tilted her head. "It's what mother always taught. Most lives are meaningless. He would do more harm than good if he were to remain alive."

Thalia stepped back a little at the glares she was receiving. "Not like that... You hated to kill..."

"Mother if my life is meaningless enough to only serve as a shield then surely most lives are? Or did you really hate me that much? Wilson killed grandfather and I have now repaid the debt." She smiled.

"No... No your life was never meaningless! Not to me! I never wanted that for you!"

"How sweet... You do care. Of course now that I've killed I've lost Father's trust. Though I suppose I never had it anyway so what difference does it make?" She hummed. "Oh well. Not my problem anymore!" She grinned and leapt off.

"Wait!" Damien called, chasing after her, losing her quickly.

They all turned to glare at Thalia and Bruce.

"To be honest... I'm very surprised that Bunnyx hasn't appeared from the rabbit hole." Adrien hummed.

"Who says I haven't?"

"Fluffy tail!" Adrien sighed in relief. "Thank-"

"Don't thank me yet... Nothing I have tried has been able to stop the akumatisation... If I go back further I could wreck the timeline of the universe as we know it..."

The miraculous team sagged in defeat... No one else really understood what was happening.

"So... You're a time traveller?" Thalia scowled. "You here to tell us that I've wrecked my daughter who will wreck the world?"

"Our daughter." Bruce grunted.

"Oh shut up. She's not either of yours. You've damn well proven that you don't deserve her." Jason grit.

Both huffed in annoyance.

Bunnyx sighed "I'm here to tell you that literally the only way to stop her is love. Sounds cringey and impossible... But the only way to de-akumatise her is for her to do it herself. And for that to happen, someone has to give her what she deserves."

"There's no way to physically de-akumatise her ourselves? We have to free her... By showing her love... Yeah?" Viperion looked at Bunnyx with determination.

"Which means that the parents should probably stay put- ... And they're gone already..." Tim sighed, "wow... Just wow... It feels like they're competing to see who can traumatize her more."

"Father I trust still has her best interest at heart. I have no such confidence in Mother." Damien frowned "We need to act quickly. Find her before they make things worse."

Viperion reset his second chance. "It's too late for that." He stayed before just about catching a chunk of a building that was sent flying their way. "First time that happened Red Hood was crushed."

"This isn't going to be easy..."
