you put your hoodie on and changed into some black sweatpants and went to the dorm. after catching up a bit and exchanging some jokes with the members, you all were headed to the nearby chinese restaurant. from the past few days, you felt a bit nervous and self-conscious around chan. whenever you'd meet him, you'd always fix your clothes and hair, which was something you'd rarely do since you didn't care what you looked like in front of him.
sitting in the backseat of the car along with seungmin and felix while chan drove you all to the restaurant, your eyes were fixated on chan's hands which looked so veiny and hot while driving. the way he rotated the steering wheel, only bringing his palm in contact with it as his fingers swayed without touching the wheel while his other hand relaxed on his thigh was so attractive and hot for some reason.
you guys reached the restaurant and sat down after joining two tables situated in the corner. chan noticed that you were a bit silent today, which only happened when something was clouding up your mind. "what's wrong? everything okay?" he asked while the members decided what to order. "yeah, everything's fine, just a bit tired from all that studying haha." you replied.

you obviously couldn't tell him what's going on, even you didn't know what was happening to you. why were you feeling so unusual around him these days? you hated the feeling but deep inside you loved it.

the food arrived and everyone started eating while talking to each other about various topics- food, anime, dance, you name it. you didn't speak anything, but kept observing chan and his actions. how he eagerly listened to the member's talks and held his chopsticks so perfectly as he ate his noodles. he was definitely driving you insane with whatever he did.
as the food started to get finished, chan kept talking with the members and had a few small talks with you as well. suddenly, han cracked a joke about an embarrassing incident which happened in the dorm to chan and the latter immediately started laughing, gaining your attention. you quietly admired him as he laughed and made faces while the members teased him, you slowly started to get a closure on what you felt about chan.

"his smile...it's so beautiful. the way his eyes crinkle, i just love it. i wish i could poke those cheeks of his and peck him."

maybe you were like this because you didn't think of him as a best friend anymore. you wanted to be something more with him. maybe you were really falling for him and it wasn't just an attraction or a crush. it was love that started to bloom inside your heart.
