Australia One Shots

A trip to Australia

My friends tricked me into going to Australia. They said that they where all going to go to Australia for spring break, but we all lived in different countries, so we all took different planes. Since their flights were canceled, I was the only one in Australia. Well, besides all the other people that are already here, but still! I'm all alone!

Sighing I walk around the streets thinking of what to do. I would have flown back to my country but I don't have enough money. Only enough money to buy a bottle of water! My stomach growled at feeling so empty. Sitting on the side of the road, I hold onto my stomach as I try to fight my hunger.

"Food... I need food..."

I groan as I look up at all the people passing me buy. Slowly I felt as if I was too tired to even walk, or even stay awake. My eyes began to close, the light from the sun disappearing into darkness.

"You alright mate?"

I felt an arm being place under me, lifting me up onto someone's back. My arms draped over this person's shoulders in order for me to not suddenly fall off. The person began to walk somewhere, but I didn't stay awake long enough to figure our how long they walked.

Next thing I knew, I was sitting on a bed in a very cool temperature house. It looked pretty neat, having all sorts of ancient looking things sitting everywhere. Slowly I sat up and tried to remember where I was, then it hit me.

"Oh yea, I'm in Australia because of my friends."

Looking around, I spot a small creature crawling down the wall. It was grey and had a big black nose. When crawled down the wall and onto the bed, it walked over to me and sat on my lap. That's when I realized it was a koala. I stared at it in confusion for a few seconds.

"Why is it staring at me?"

I thought as I tilted my head, the koala mirroring my motion. My eyes widened as it copied everything I did. I raised my hand and it did the same. I put my hands on my mouth and it copied it. I started to laugh at how much fun this was, then suddenly I hear a familiar voice.

"I see you woke up! How's it going?"

I turn my head and see a tall man with brown hair, some pieces sticking up in places. He had no shirt on, which was actually the first thing I looked at. A blush covered my cheeks as I eyed his perfect body. Pulling the blankets to cover my cheeks I speak.

"W-Who are you? And w-where am I?"

The man walked closer to the bed and leaned against a seat.

"Me you ask? My name is Jett Kirkland! You're at me house."

He smiled at you as he straddle a seat next to your bed. The koala that sat on your lap then crawled off. Jett stretched his arm out, forming a bridge for the koala to crawl onto his shoulder from the bed.

"I say you on the side of the road when I was buying some food. You looked like you needed some help so I decided to help you out!"

Slowly I lower the blanket from my cheeks and smile at him.

"Thanks, good thing you came. I was so hungry! By the way, this is kind of rude to ask since I am a guest, but do you have any food?"

Jett laughed at me as he stood from the seat and rustled my hair.

"Of course! I got some food for you. I'll bring it right away."

He walked over to the kitchen and came back shortly with a bowl of some food. I didn't know what it was but I was too hungry to care! When he handed it to me, I quickly started to eat. Jett sat down in his seat and watched me as I enjoyed the meal.
