Unexpected Encounter

Kira sighed as she concluded her shift at the veterinary clinic, ready to go home after a long day of caring for animals. Little did she know that fate had other plans for her.

Driving along the dark road, her eye caught up to a little animal moving across her path. In a reflexive move to avoid hitting a helpless creature, she crashed with a passing bike.

As she got out of her car to look at the creature she saved, a voice full of anger broke the silence behind her. "Are you blind?" You almost ran me over."

Kira turned towards the direction of the voice and found herself staring into the eyes of an attractive stranger, his eyes struck her soul. Despite the stress, they had a clear spark.

Kira apologised as she went to help him, walking him to a nearby bench and then she rushed to the car to get the first-aid kit, while nursing his injuries they had a brief introduction. The guy introduced himself as Carson a professional biker, while Kira expressed her love of animals and her career as a veterinarian.

Kira ended their brief meeting by offering to drive Carson home, unable to accept the idea of him riding in his condition. During their drive, a connection built between them. Kira helped Carson to get off the car and walked him to his apartment. Carson didn't want Kira to leave but he thought it would be an awkward situation to ask a girl to stay by the night at a guy's place she just met so he just offered coffee to spend a little longer time with her but Kira refused to stay as she had to go for her work early morning the next day but promised Carson to come check on him tomorrow.

Kira left Carson's place and the night ended but not for Carson he didn't sleep the whole night thinking about the next meeting with kira.

Next day Kira went to the clinic and continued her daily routine at the clinic, Lunch hours she decided to go meet Carson but unfortunately her car broke down, Thomas saw this situation of Kira so heoffered her a ride. Kira had no choice but to take Thomas's help as she promised Carson to visit.

Carson was excitedly waiting for a ring of the bell to meet Kira. As the bell rang Carson eagerly rushed to open the door and was happy to see Kira but suddenly his excitement level decreased by one percent as he realised Kira and him weren't gonna be alone this afternoon they had company.

Kira explained her situation and apologized to bring an unexpected guest and introduced Thomas as her colleague but Thomas crossed the introduction and said "Not only colleagues but also childhood friends" and tapped Kira's head, Carson felt a bit of jealousy.

Kira continued her check up on Carson and suddenly she got a call from the clinic so she excused herself and step aside to take the call. Thomas was continuously looking at Kira talking on the call and complimenting her again and again hearing this Carson was getting more jealous and couldn't shake off having a lot of thoughts about kira and thomas in his mind.

Little did he know that the path ahead would be filled with difficulties and truths that would put his heart to the test. But for now, all he could do was remember their fortunate meeting and wait for the time to reveal if Thomas was just a friend of Kira or they have more in their relationship.
