Mahi had tried all her ways to convince Vidyut, but he was such a tough nut to crack. However, Vidyut was also a man of few words and didn't easily sway. When Mahi realized that none of her methods were working, she asked Vidyut one last time, "Are you sure you won't take me?"
"No," Vidyut replied without much thought.
Suddenly, Mahi started crying dramatically and exclaimed, "Oh, Mahadev! How can this friend of my brother not agree to take me to my favorite place just for a Vada pav?"
Vidyut was shocked to see how Mahi came up with this idea. Although it was evident that she was acting, the reactions from others suggested that they believed Mahi was genuinely upset.
"Stop this drama now and let's go inside," Vidyut said, accustomed to her behavior.
Mahi was shocked for a moment at how calmly Vidyut reacted, but she hoped maybe he would agree after this.
"So, shall we go now?" Vidyut asked.
"you asking as if I won't go if you'll take me wherever I want?" Mahi responded with a bored look.
They both entered the restaurant, and all the workers there were wishing Vidyut. Mahi stopped and asked a waitress, "Excuse me, why is everyone wishing him?"
"Actually, ma'am, he is a major shareholder in this restaurant, so he likes our boss here," the waitress explained.
Mahi wasn't really surprised after knowing this, as she also belonged to a wealthy family. So this was very common for her.
They sat opposite each other, and a waiter came with welcome drinks and the menu. Vidyut handed the menu to Mahi and said, "Take a look and order whatever you feel like."

Mahi looked at the menu and decided what to order. When the waiter came, Mahi placed her order for two plates of Vada pav, Vidyut interjected while Mahi was ordering saying he had already had lunch an hour ago.
Mahi glared at him and said, "You could have said this even after I finished speaking."
Again, Vidyut didn't say anything and started checking his emails on his phone.
The waiter again asked for Mahi's order. She ordered one plate of Vada pav and one Oreo chocolate milkshake. As Mahi finished giving her order, her phone rang.
"I'll be back in a few minutes," Mahi said to Vidyut, who nodded without looking at her. Mahi shrugged off her unwanted thoughts and went towards the exit to attend the call.
Vidyut's POV:
I was so engrossed in checking my email when Mahi's order arrived I came back to reality that I came here with Mahi. But where is she ? I looked up and saw Mahi returning from the exit gate. Until then, I hadn't noticed what she was wearing, but the way she was dressed was cute, like a small baby in her tomboy look. Her hair length was perfect, enhancing her beauty. Her eyes only show innocence. I couldn't help but admire her as my thoughts were interrupted when Mahi returned back to her seat.
