Gone wrong

The world swirled in front of me as I fell hundreds of yards into the black abyss below, and then suddenly... The hole beeped. I slowly opened my eyes to find that I was in the shuttle, and we were slowly moving through space. The cabin I was in was empty except for me and Kasey, which means Paige left to go somewhere.  I sat up and looked out my window, observing a small circle in the distance, which was probably the moon. I pulled my chair back into a sitting position, and my smart glasses flicked on. I swiped the holograms left until I found what I was looking for: A notification for a mission briefing at 0400 Hours. That meant I had roughly 3 hours until then, seeing how it was 0100. I decided to get up and walk down to the mess to get some food. I left the room quietly, trying not to wake Kasey. I leave the room and pull on my magnetboots to stay on the ground. I walk to the massive window and look out into space. I see the moon, a dark rock almost imperceptibly moving closer. I can see a faint light on the moon, possibly a landing spot or city on the moon. But then it moves. Towards the shuttle. I watch as smoke speas out the back and the object abruptly changes course to aim at us. A rocket. Going right for us. I sprint to the command room and pound on the door.
"What is it," a person asks as the door swings open. The president.
"Mr. President, a rocket is headed for the shuttle. We need to evacuate.
" Is it really?" He asks.
"Yes sir, coming right for us," I respond.
"I trust you," He responds carefully, turning around. He stops.
"Thank you," he responds.
"Yes,sir" I say, running down the hall back to my room. All of a sudden, the loudspeaker comes on.
"All passengers, there is a missile inbound and will hit the shuttle in 4 minutes. Commence evac procedures immediately,"
I sprint to the room and swing open the door. Empty. That means Kasey and Paige made it out alright. I swung my helmet in, grabbed my weapons and supply pack, and ran back out the door. I quickly recalled evac procedures, which I memorized a week earlier. I quickly turned left and bounded towards the steps to the loading dock. I see a crowd of the LUNA squadron and staff of the shuttle waiting to board the escape shuttles.
"1 minute until impact," the loudspeaker warns. The somewhat line immediately turns into a clump of  panicked people. I push through the crowd, eager to get off this metal coffin. The cluster slowly reforms into a line and it accelerates so I am almost on the escape craft.
"30 Seconds until impact," the loudspeaker announces. The line pushes forward until I am thrust into an escape craft. I look around, and not seeing Paige, I stand by the door. Then I see her. I immediately contact her HUD and am tapped into her camera. Her face is panicked and worried.
"Paige, hurry, get on." I say.
"There's too many people!!" She responds nervously.
"Hurry!" Is all I can think to say as the craft jolts into motion.
"Pat!" She screams as everything happens at once.
The craft pulls away from the hangar as the missile slams into the shuttle. I see Paige scream as the blast throws her into a wall, and then my craft spins in space as it is thrown into space in the general direction of the moon.
"Paige!" I shout into my HUD. I watch a blurry image of her face go fuzzy as the shuttles engine's explode, sending metal in every direction. I watch in terror as the entire shuttle disintegrates begin me.
