I was finished with my food,i got up from my seat and placed my tray aside. "Im just gonna go to my friends,ok?"i say to Cheng and walked to Jay and Mei ying.
"Hey guys!"i say as i sat next to Mei ying. "WHAT JUST HAPPENED EARLIER EUNICE" Mei ying blurted out,"WHAT SHE SAID"jay then said after. "Look its not what you think!"i put my hands up.
"Yeah right.." They both say. I sigh,"look so the reason why you guys saw what you saw is bcs....." i then told them the reason why. "Ohhhh thats why"Jay said,"but anyways,why would Cheng buy you food when he couldve just left you alone?" Jay added.
"your right" Mei ying said agreeing,"idk but atleast i didnt spend any money!"i smiled whil the two chuckled.

The bell finally rang,so all students went back to their classes. Me and Mei ying walked to our next class together. Cheng however,when i went to Jay and Mei ying earlier he was nowhere to be seen. I didnt think much of it though,me and Mei ying chatted while waiting for our teacher. "Oh look Chengs here,guess i have to go"Mei smirked and walked to her seat. I totally forgot he was still sitting next to me!
I see him walk towards me,and sat in his seat. I see that Zhuang and Liang arent with him so maybe they dont have history together...
It was quiet on our side,Mei ying however was chatting with some of her friends. I sometimes wish I was her,she could practically talk to anyone and she would immediately be friends with them!
I was thinking whether or not I should talk to Cheng or not,but I brushed the thought away. I looked at Mei ying again and see her mouthing something,i couldnt make out of it. Mei ying grabbed a paper and a pen,and started writing something on it. She then raised the paper and it said "TALK TO HIM"
I immediately shook my head,but she kept begging,i thought about it for a min.
I then finally mustered up the courage to talk to him. "H-hey,why's Zhuang and Liang not with you?" I asked. He looked at me,a bit surprised that i talked to him. "Wha- oh me and those two dont have history together...."he answered. So I was right.
"The teacher is a bit late huh" he say,and i just nodded and smile a bit.
As he said that,the teacher walked in the classroom,"ok class please sit in your proper seats." The teacher say,i fixed my posture,and started putting my attention on the teacher.
"Ok hello class,my name is Mr. Han and I will be your history teacher for the whole year." He said then started teaching.
After a few mins Mr. Han stopped teaching and said,"ok class,I want you all to get a paper and make a short essay about history. And strictly NO HELPING EACHOTHER"
I got my paper and pen and started my essay,as I was busy doing my essay Cheng called my name. "Eunice help me,please?" He asked. I looked over his paper and see that he hasnt made much progress,"Mr. Han will see us Cheng" i replied. "I know i know,but i really need your help pleaseee" he begged.
I sighed and started to help him,a few mins in helping him. I hear footsteps stop infront of us." Didnt i say earlier not to help eachother?" Mr. Han said,i gulped and look down.
He sighed," detention for you two later." He said and walked away. My jaw dropped,DETENTION ON THE FIRST DAY!? MY MOM'S GONNA KILL ME
"Sorry....." Cheng muttered,I looked over at him. I sighed "its fine,its just detention anyways."i said. "Yeah but i dragged you into this" he added,"lets talk about this later,we still have a essay to do."

I got out of the classroom of my last subj,and immediately see Mei ying and Jay they both walked up to me. "Is it true you got detention with Cheng?" Jay asked,i nodded and sighed. "See? I told you!" Mei ying said,"Well i guess i have to go,bye guys" i waved as they waved back
I started walking to the room of detention,a few mins I was at the front door. I took a deep breath and went inside,it was just Cheng inside,I couldnt see a teacher though.
I sat next to Cheng,"Wheres the teacher?"
"Mr. Han went to the bathroom,he said that we will be here for 30 mins i think?" Cheng sighed while speaking. I nodded at what he said.
"So....." i started to speak. Chengs head turned to me.
"what if we become friends..?" I say akwardly.
"Maybe,but i still am gonna tease you" he smirked,i rolled my eyes while smiling.
