From 8am to 8pm... yeah that's my time spent here in the city library on every day basis. Just spending my day roaming around in here, arranging books, repairing them as well as issuing books to teens and students preparing for their exams.

Yup. That's my timetable which also includes reading novels, having lunch at 12pm and my visit to my secret life under the library.

Even though I wasn't medically diagnosed, it was obvious that there were multiple people inside this single body. And Lilian is the only one who manages to somehow escape my abusers aka my 'parents'.

Whereas this 'gentle' lady named Alda has quite a fascinating hobby of collecting human skulls and also finds pleasure in ripping people apart.

Quite fascinating! ain't it?

Though whenever I'm at my 'home' I let lilian take the command as I, Debbie, am too tired to go through another 'welcome home' gift which is basically consists of verbally degrading me and physically abusing me.

But today was something different.

Something so different that even Lilian was not able to control the situation despite her manipulative self. These two monsters were getting out of control. But why???

"You dare live in my house and hide this much money?" spat my 'father' angrily as he held a tight hold on my hair with crumbled notes of 700$ in his other hand.

Georgia, this man, Harold's wife stood there in the corner with an evil smirk which I was too familiar with. So much familiar that I can easily guess what words will leave her mout

"Can't believe this is how you're repaying us? After all that we've done for you?" drama queen has started her crying which I might add were only crocodile tears.

As if this drunkard wasn't angry enough she provoked him more. "My dear Debbie! I never knew you would betray us like this! You clearly know we are drowning in debt each day!!" acting as if I'm the one abusing them.

"it's my money that I have saved... even after I've paid all the bills and everything... if you are so much worried about debts it would be better--" Lilian was putting forth our opinion in a calm and a collected way but the old man wasn't in the mood to hear all of it.

The next thing we remember is being thrown across the hall like a rag doll. Hair disheveled and probably blood spilling from our nose.

Let me remind these were the very ones saying I was an ungrateful b#tch....

As if throwing me around wasn't enough. Harold even picked up the steel rod lying under the sofa.

Why was that thing there again? Whatever reason it was there for, looks like right now I won't survive getting beaten by it.

Even though Lilian is the calmest of us all I felt her trembling as well. After all, split personalities only occur due to heavy stress and trauma.

Lilian closed her eyes and prepared herself for the pain. It indeed came.

The notorious giggling of Georgia was ringing in my ears as her husband beat me up to his heart's content. Gritting her teeth and somehow enduring the pain I saw Lilian trying to hold back a personality switch.

This might make things interesting or maybe not.

You see we have this chamber were we, personalities can see each other but the only thing is we can't control each other's action.

I, Debbie, looked around only to find Odette squirming in fear and....

Oh no... Alda is on a full rage mode.

If she doesn't calm down now, Lilian and she might switch before this devious couple. Things would turn ugly if that happens.

Before I could even try to stop her it was too late....

Alda was gone and was replaced by Lilian..

Holy s#it.......
