The murder in book is based off of the Becky Watts murder which was a real life case.
This book contains VERY MILD blood and VERY MINIMAL mentions of decapitation and dismemberment
I have changed the case a bit so it will fit the story line. There are some things about the case that I do not know and there for I have made them up.
If you wish to hear about the real case I highly recommend listening to Rotten Mango by Stephanie Soo. It is ep 57 and it is called The Kidnap Kit (Case of Becky Watts). The podcast can be found on Spotify and iTunes.
I have changed the names of the people involved for the purpose of this book.
I will try to make this as light hearted as possible because the Friday Barnes books are usually light hearted.
