[wow, it's been a while guy. a lot has happened but everything is settling down! second year at uni is completed and should have more time for writing (i say, as i look for a second job for the summer).
i've also... watched the whole of haikyuu (and read the manga) and can say with complete certainty i love kenma and nishinoya, they are my absolute faves.

Y/N almost felt like life was flashing before their eyes. Not in the I'm-about-to-die flashing, but more the fact that the days passed by so fast; they'd never had so much fun in their life before. Even though they could never really outwardly express it, they'd forever be thankful to the extremely entertaining group of friends they'd all made.
Weeks seemed like days. Days passed like it had only been a mere few hours.
Yet, Y/N would always feel accomplished whenever they sat down on their bed at the end of their day. Inwardly smiling, eyes glimmering with a soft sort of fondness.
Classes took longer to get used to; the high school different from regular school in terms of subjects, but that didn't stop the 'normal' student subjects being a pain. Y/N was so used to being homeschooled, but that didn't stop Satoru and Zoë from being their extroverted selves and making a ruckus, whilst Y/N, Suguru and Iori sat back and looked at them with eyes dancing with amusement and exasperation.
There were days with no classes. Using the free time, they'd go to cafés; visit places; go on walks. Sometimes it was as a whole group, sometimes as a trio. Sometimes Y/N went with one other person; usually Zoë or Iori. Satoru and Suguru usually had a weekly best-friends day, which Iori made fun of them for. (Y/N would never say anything, but both boys had tried to invite them on multiple different occasions but they had declined, knowing the two friends wanted some quiet time; the two were on a different level. Y/N knew they were something alike platonic soulmates, like the ones they'd read in their spare time back at the L/N mansion.)
