Chapter 1: Disaster

"Morning" Amy said rolling over to look at Ty. "Good morning" Ty said giving Amy a kiss. Amy sat up and rubbed her eyes. Then slid her slippers on and walked out to the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee. The smell of a newly built house is something Amy loved. Ty was following close behind her. "We have a lot of work to do today, and a lot of unpacking as well" Amy smiled as she added coffee to the coffee pot.

"I know. The barn also needs some work which I can get to work on today while you unpack if you'd like" Ty said leaning against the counter. "Uhm, yeah sure that could work" she smiled and pulled the coffee pot off the stand and poured a cup of coffee for her and ty. She set the cups of coffee down on the counter and grabbed some heavy whipping cream out of the fridge.

They quickly drank down their coffee and then Amy and Ty walked out to the barn to exercise Spartan and Harley before starting work. "Nothing like a trail ride in the morning when it's still chilly and the suns still coming up" Ty smiled as he mounted Harley. "Yeah I totally agree" Amy mounts spartan.

"Do you wanna ride up to the ranch and see how grandpa and everyone's doing?" Amy looked at Ty as they started on with their trail ride. "Uh yeah sure, lets try to make it as quick as possible so we can get started on our work" He said kicking up Harley. "agreed" Amy said, kicking up spartan to try and keep up with Ty.

Spartan and Amy quickly took over Harley and Ty. "hey slow down!" Ty exclaimed and Kicked Harley up a little more, catching up to Amy and Spartan. "in your dreams old man" She laughed and kicked Spartan into a rack. Ty followed closely behind, but not quite as fast, before too long the Ranch came into view, Amy looked behind her to make sure that Ty was still following behind her, she slowed to a trot and Ty caught up. "For Spartans age, He's still pretty fast" Ty said trying to catch his breath. Amy laughed a little bit "He's not THAT old!!" she exclaimed.

They rode onto the ranch and rode up to the house and then got off of their horses and tied them to the fence post that sits in front of the farm house. "Looks kind of quiet" Ty said looking around. "Yeah a little bit they must still be sleeping" Amy said walking up to the house. "Good Moring everyone" Amy yelled through the house. "Amy!" Ty said laughing a little bit. "What?!" She said looking back at him.

Jack came out of his room, he looked like he had just woke up, which he probably did. "Good morning grandpa! Why are you guys still sleeping?" Amy asked curiously. He gave 'That look'. "it was a long night the horses were restless last night so me, Lou, Peter, And Georgie were all trying to keep them sound" he said gesturing towards the door. "that's weird, ill take a look at them" Ty said walking out the door. "okay" Jack and Amy agreed.

"So other than the obvious, how are things with you guys?" Amy asked jack, at this point Lou is walking down the hall from her room. "good morning Amy, your here early" Lou said rubbing her eyes and yawning. "Yup, me and Ty have a long day ahead of us!" Amy said excitedly. "Yup, we have ALOT to do, Including work on the barn, and unpacking the rest of our stuff" Ty added. "Well if you guys need any help then myself, Peter and Georgie can all come help!" she said walking into the kitchen to snoop for breakfast. Ty walked back in the door. "Seems like the horses are fine, something must have just spooked them" Ty said shrugging his shoulders.

"So we cant stay long, so we are gonna run to the barn, say hi to the horses, and Georgie before we head back" Amy said as she turned around and headed for the door. "See you around" Ty shot before following Amy, They entered the barn, saying hi to all the horses before heading upstairs to where Georgie has taken over the loft. "Good Morning Georgie" Amy shouted happily, Georgie quickly sat up "You scared me half to death" she said yawning and stretching. "My bad just wanted to come say hi before we left back to our house" Amy said giving Georgie a hug. Georgie pushed herself out of bed "Its about time for me to go exercise Phoenix anyways" Georgie said sliding her slippers on.

"Maybe i can ride back towards your house with you part way since i ride that way anyways" Georgie said while she brushed her teeth. Amy looked at Ty and Ty agreed. "uh yeah sure that would be good" Amy said. Georgie pulled her hair up into a pony tail and slid her slippers off and then slid her riding boots on. "I'm ready when you are" Georgie said gesturing towards the stairs.

They walked down the stairs and Georgie tacked up Phoenix while Amy and Ty went back towards the house to get Spartan and Harley. "I'm so happy that we finally have our own place" Amy smiled as she mounted Spartan. "yeah me to!" Ty agreed. They rode back by the barn where Georgie was just finishing up Tacking up Phoenix. "You ready?" Ty asked Georgie. "yup" she said, She mounted Phoenix, and Georgie rode part way with Ty and Amy and then Ty and Amy went the rest of the way to their house.

When they arrived they both got off their horses and put them back in the barn. "So I'll tackle the barn? And you'll tackle the house?" Ty asked. "Yup exactly, So ill see you in a couple of hours" Amy said giving Ty a hug, Hours went by before they knew it, they had tackled so much but now it was time to have dinner, Amy walked out to the barn, "Alright lets call it for the night so we can get dinner started" Amy said walking up behind Ty. "Okay got it ill finish this up and be right in" He said looking back at Amy.

After dinner they watched a little bit of TV, and then they laid down for bed. "Well that was an eventful day" Ty said putting his arm around Amy. "Yes it was. We got alot done" she said smiling at him. Ty and Amy talked for a while and then eventually they dozed off.

Later that night Ty is woken up to the fire alarm going off. Ty sat straight up out of bed just to see the room filled with smoke. He started coughing "AMY" Ty started yelling "AMY THERES A FIRE!" He started shaking Amy.
