Chapter 5

I woke up the next morning in a masculine's arm. I was still sleepy and could barely remember what happened last night. The alarm rang and  " shit" he said as he woke up with a start. He checked his phone and jumped out of bed. He was late and he might get queried by the board. I laid down on the bed feeling grateful for not going to work today due to some reasons I couldn't remember although my mind was just coming back.
  Suddenly, everything came back,how yesterday was being declared as public holiday,  how I met Ethan, reasons why Kyle was home with me.
  Standing up, I went to the bathroom. "Kyle,can I come in?",I asked even if I knew I could just walk into the bathroom. Sometimes,I like respecting one's privacy.
   "No, I am almost done besides I am already late, don't think I have time to wash with you."
     "There is a public holiday". There is no need for the rush. I went back to the bed and packed our clothes. Looking at the bed, it reminded me of how hot,last night was. I arranged the bed and put everything in order thinking of what to prepare for breakfast, I just wanted something light. He entered the room with a wet body and a towel around his waist. Gosh, barely looking his chest,I wanted the repeat of last night. "Good morning babe",I said trying to hide the urge to touch or kiss him. He stared at me like he was expecting more than a greeting. "Is that it, just a casual good morning?"I rolled my eyes fully aware and deliberately refusing to kiss him but I had to,if I wanted to have a good day with him. I moved closer to him and gave him a peck,he seized this opportunity and drag me to himself. I felt his body vibrate,my heartbeat was loud that I could hear it, my body shook,he stared at me waiting for me to say something but I was speechless. My knees went numb that I had to hold on to him. He kissed me only this time,it was deep and hungrily. He pushed me over to the bed and ...............

   "Babe ,I think we should take some fresh air outside maybe go to the movies or the park or the mall, somewhere fun to get your mind off some things." I wondered if it was Kyle that spoke. I stared at him in bewilderment,"seriously,you want us to go out, I mean I literally beg you to have fun, is this statement coming from you, cause I'm confused,"I said smiling at least someone was giving me the reason to. "I am serious,I don't like it when you are down besides it is being long we spent time together,work and all that stuff has really pulled us apart".
    "Point of correction, darling. It is you and not us. I am always free and ready to go out with you but you,never available." I said trying to make him see how much effect his busy schedule is taking a toll on our relationship.
     "Babe, can we not do this now? Please,I don't think I want to go down the argument lane. I am trying to adjust my schedule so that I can spend more time with you."
   "You've been trying, for how long? You know what ?i am not in the mood for this, let me just change and we will go out." Mke sure you look sexy" he said, grinning just to show me hot I look.
