Pillars

Chapter 4

   Kyle is  caring although he is always busy and never available  but he doesn't like seeing people sad especially the ones he loves. Pulling the curtains, I saw his Range Rover pulling up in front of the yard.Looking at Kyle ,one could say he is much of a wrestler or a boxer than an architect with all the tattoos and muscles.The clothes he wore showed that he was coming back from work. Of course,if Kyle is coming to my place by this time of the day, then that means he is spending the night at my place. He has some of his things at my place so he doesn't have to bother about change of clothes.I heaved a sigh of relief knowing that I will not be spending the night alone.
   He came inside holding a small  package. He loves spoiling me but I always complained of spending money on unnecessary things. What the hell was this?, was the question I asked myself. I called someone to help me ease my heaviness and here he is swinging a package like he was coming back home to a five year old. "Jeez, what the hell happened?" he looked at me cupping my chin with his hands. Bae, what is it? Why are you looking like this? I looked at him and broke down again. I needed a shoulder to cry on, I needed someone to hold me still so I can keep my sanity. I felt the world shutting it's doors against me. "Babe, who did this to you?, he asked expressing his worries through his eyes. I stared at him wondering if he will understand the fact that it is not easy to forget the pain.
   "I am sorry, I had to let it out,I was heavy,my parents,I miss them so much." I was never close to my brother because he was always in school (boarding school). "It is okay,I understand", he gave me that reassuring look that always said it is going to be fine. He pulled me closer and gave me a kiss,the only thing I wanted was someone to hold me tight, yeah I am getting it.
    "Have you had something to eat?"I asked him knowing fully he doesn't have time for food.     
   Anything easy to put in the mouth is what you will find Kyle with. He was getting lean, I observed.
      "I grabbed a snack during lunch", he stared at me disapprovingly because he knew what was gonna come next. "Babe, there was really no time to eat, trust me. I stared at the clock,"jeez, it was 7:05 pm ,I missed my class again." "Is it that important?"he asked. "Yes, very important". "Babe, it is not bad to skip a day, you will attend tomorrow".
    "Fine",even if I knew it wasn't. Kyle, what do you want to eat? "Honey, I am not hungry." "Really", you didn't do lunch and now you are refusing dinner. Kyle, have you looked at yourself through the mirror, I mean, you are getting lean.
"Bae, i am fine. He moved closer and kissed me. All I want right now is you", he dragged me to himself that I could barely breathe. "Kyle ,we are not doing this until you have dinner", I said trying to resist him although it was hard. " Vina, don't try hard, you know you can't. After this, we would have dinner, just give me some sugar". This time,I couldn't resist because he was kissing me on my neck,my weakest point. I gave in as usual and then,it all happened.
