A lot of things have happened in the last few months. A space probe landed in Beach City, two gems hand an argument over the Kindergarten, those two gems fell in love- that's it, actually. To be more specific, Beryl came to earth to attempt to revive the Kindergarten, but luckily a gem, Citrine, stopped him and convinced him not to. After a long time of a flirtatious friendship, they fell in love. Now, Beryl is at a crossroads on what to do. Tell Citrine that he's actually a fusion, or not.
Walking along the sand at the beach, was Beryl. He had his hands behind his back, pacing back and forth.
"What are we going to do.." He began, talking to himself.
"I don't know, I feel like we should tell him."
"They problem is, what if he won't like us-.. Or, Beryl, anymore?"
"Carnelian, shut up. You know Citrine, he wouldn't do that."
"But he might! He could think it's weird, and maybe even go back to Homeworld!"
"I doubt it, just calm down, and stop whining."
"Whining?!"
Beryl began to fade to white, the two gems slowly coming apart.
"Yes, whining!"
"This isn't whining! I'm worrie-" And with that, they came apart. Two little figures falling down with a thud, into the sand.
"OW! See, this is what happens when we fight!" The blue tinted gem retorted, sitting up from the fall. "Oh be quiet, Sodalite! I don't want to hear it."
They continued to argue, meanwhile Citrine was making his way to the beach, in search for Beryl.
Soon, he arrived at the scene, holding a dandelion. Why? We don't know.
"Beryl, dear, do you know what this I-.." Instead of seeing his lover, he saw two smell gems, red and blue.
"This is your fault, Carnelian!"
"AS IF!"
Citrine was more confused than shocked. The two looked like Beryl in a way, though.
"Beryl..? Do you know where.. he is?" He slowly asked, looking down at the two.
Sodalite frowned, looking from Carnelian to Citrine. "Do you want to tell him?"
"Sure.-"
"Tell him what?!" Cirtine interrupted, furrowing his brows.
They both stood up, holding hands.
"We're in love." Carnelian started.
"But, we also love you." Soldalite finished, squeezing his hand lightly.
Citrine squinted, giving a confused look. "W..what?.."
The two looked at each other, before nodded. Carnelian took Sodalite's hand, twirling him, then dipping him, pressed their foreheads together as they fused.
It was Beryl.
"Beryl.." Citrine whispered, looking at him as his eyes widened.
"I'm sorry, I should've told you sooner." Beryl frowned, his eyes starting to water.
Citrine frowned, hugging him tight. "No... it's okay."
They stayed in comfortable silences for a few minutes, hugging one another tightly.
"Do you still love us-.. I mean, me..?"
Citrine couldn't help but smile, cupping his face. "I love both of you." He pressed a kiss to his nose, rubbing his back soothingly.
"We love you, too, Citrine."
