The next day the three arrive at the spot where Naku is waiting for them. All three are ready for battle and look it too. For this battle I will remove my cloak because I want you to be able to see my face as your last sight. His face revealed an advantageous piece of information. He had black hair and black eyes, but his forehead was without a sealing mark. That means only two other locations could have it. Unfortunately his clothes covered both his chest and his belly. So shall we begin, Naku said confidently. Demonic aura: red shift, he gets covered in the same red aura. The commander and Sumi step up and prepare to cast a combo attack. Lightning art: condensed beam, he fires a bright blue beam of lightning at Naku. Water art: twisting dragon, she creates a water dragon that twists around the beam. Once contact is made the dragon merges with the beam to amplify the power. Although this attack made no dents in the aura. But the purpose was distraction so Ichiro could close in. He reaches out his hand and touches the aura. He remembers the words whispered to him by Kurai. This mark is a weapon I had in a seal. It's called heavenly divergence, once the user touches something with a marked hand the something splits. It's like a line drawn down the middle of the hand and that designates the split. Although it doesn't work on anything too big and it requires the user to touch. So now that Ichiro is touching the aura he can use it. The red aura splits causing it to disband, and it allows Ichiro an opening. He touches Naku with one of the seal tags on his heart. Unfortunately that is not wear the seal was located so it doesn't work.  Naku jumps back shocked that anything could break through that move and so easily too. So it's located on his stomach huh, Ichiro says in a calm and cool manner. I'm surprised that you could break through that move. I don't know how you did it but I know I can't use that move against you anymore. And that tag it's a seal of some sort. I won't give you another opportunity to use it. Ichiro charges forward, he's fast but he's not adept enough at heavenly divergence to use it in combination with thunder arts. So he is going without them. Demonic aura: twin demon hands, this time he has two hands that look like they are made of the same aura. He grabs Ichiro as these hands are just as fast as his base speed. The hands made of the same aura are just as unbreakable as red shift. Ichiro's arm is pinned so he can't use heavenly divergence. Twin demon hands can be deactivated by forcing the user to move from their spot. Sumi and the commander have realized this and so it's up to them to free Ichiro before he's crushed. They charge after Naku. He fends them off with superior physical combat. Although he can only use one move at a time so red shift can't be used for defense at the moment. So he's vulnerable to an art. Sumi isn't so good at damaging arts yet so it's up to Asahi. Lightning art: lightning dragon attack, he fires this from the right of Naku. Naku raises his fist and punches the air pointed at the attack. From that punch a sonic wave is released destroying the dragon. Water art: simple wave, she uses a basic wave but they know that for some reason Naku wants to avoid water. And so he dodges the wave and in doing so his technique was released, freeing Ichiro. Now free Ichiro goes for his stomach, hoping for an interval between techniques. Unfortunately for him his enemy can use another technique immediately. Demonic aura: demon hand forest, a vast number of smaller hands made of the red aura raise into the air. And they start smashing into the ground targeting everything in front of him. Sumi and Asahi weren't in front of him but to his sides, however Ichiro was. He was forced to use his thunder arts to dodge the attack. That means he will have to wait a minute or so before he could use heavenly divergence again. Naku notices this and quickly absorbs the hands back into him. He with incredible speed gets behind Ichiro and touches him. You didn't think you were the only one with scary contact attacks did you boy, demonic aura: demon chain prison. Chains form around Ichiro and bind him, then attach to the ground preventing him from moving. One down two more left.
  Naku then rushes at the commander. He can only use one demonic aura move at once and he is using it to keep Ichiro chained down. So he is restricted to physical combat, however he is quite skilled at that. He sees the commander as the more skilled person left in the battle so he's focusing on him. He begins fighting Asahi at close range. The commander is pretty good at hand to hand but not as good as Naku. While he was attacking the commander, Naku gets hit by something hard from behind. Sumi has started using her staff. The girl isn't bad but her arts have no individual power, Naku thinks. But the other one is strong at the arts so I need to make sure he can't use them. The girl is no real problem alone. So I will use that to put him on the ground for a while. He uses his great speed to get to the commander quickly, then he follows up with an attack. Sonic fist driver, the same attack he used earlier, a single punch that creates a sonic wave. The commander blocks the punch but the following sonic attack can't be blocked. It pushes him away and onto the ground. He then goes for Sumi. Water art: wave bullets, she creates three bullets of water that creates puddles on the ground after they hit something. She knows she can't beat him at close range so she is trying to buy time. Sonic fist driver, he uses the same attack to destroy the projectiles. Since Sumi was right behind the bullets she was caught in the attack and while she didn't take the full severity of it she was still blasted back. He continues to fight her. The commander is on the ground and stunned. That did not do that much physical damage but it hit my internal organs. If I take that too many times I'll die. although I'd like to believe he can't use it too often. The commander stands to his feet. Wind art: tiger bullet, a more condensed version of raging tiger. He used it for concern of hitting Sumi. Naku notices it, he quickly kicks Sumi away. Sonic fist driver, he counters the wind attack and rushes to Asahi. Once he was right in front of the commander he follows up with an attack. Sonic fist barrage, instead of one big blast to hit all of one's internals, this attack uses a series of smaller sonic bursts. It's only big enough to hit one organ but since it's a barrage of attacks Naku can hit many times over in many places. The commander was only hit for three seconds and in that time he had taken dozens of blows. By the end of the attack he fell to the ground and coughed up blood due to the internal damage. Then Naku was hit with the same hard blow from behind but it was vastly more powerful than before. He looked at Sumi who was different from before. Naku’s earlier beating knocked her unconscious and yet here she stood. She was still unconscious, her eyes were closed and all but she is still fighting somehow. Looks like the brat still has some fight in her. He rushes towards Sumi. She hit him once again with her staff easily countering him. He continues to try and attack her but he can't land one blow. What the hell, how did this brat get so strong so fast. I'll kill you, sonic fist bullet, a condensed bullet of sonic energy. Sumi slams her staff into it, stopping it from hitting her. Sonic fist explosion, a more powerful version of sonic fist driver. He rushes in trying to hit her. His fist is too heavy with sonic energy to hit away. Sumi dodges with even greater speed than him and pierces him with her staff. The sonic explosion going off right next to her head. He was hit in the chest, he quickly got away simultaneously getting the staff out of him. Sumi then speaks still unconscious, water art: cutting bullet. She fires a bullet of water, it moves quickly towards him. It pops on him and many super fast cuts were delivered to him all over. This effectively eviscerated him. He was on his knees barely keeping himself up. Cuts were visible all over. He was considering his next move. He is unable to keep up with her but he may be able to win with his demonic techniques. But this would require releasing the active technique, which was the only thing keeping Ichiro binded. Sumi rushed at him giving him no choice, he released the technique and activated another one. Demonic aura: red shift, the aura surrounded him. Sumi's attack could not break through. He used his increased speed in, red shift to grab Sumi by the neck. He released, red shift in preparation for another technique. Time for a little payback for earlier, demonic aura: quick evisceration, now you die brat. Water art: flowing skin, a technique used to make the skin no different than water which nullified the slashes. Water art: splash, she used this to escape his grip it just splashes water in front of her hand which she pointed at him. Naku, blinded by the water, was unable to see what was coming. Ichiro, now free, placed a sealing tag on his stomach. The tag sealed the seal that contained the demon now makes its demonic energy unavailable to him. Who could've imagined it, me defeated by a brat. Sumi then put her staff through his heart. Upon removing it he fell to the ground.
