Smiling critters x Motherly figure

You were just about to press the punch card  to leave your work place you saw that it was raining outside
"Just great I don't have my umbrella" you grumbled to yourself
You immediately ran out of the office purse in hand through the pouring rain your heels clicking against the side walk stepping in rain puddles all you wanted to do is get back to your house ....
You decided to take a short cut through an alley way when you tripped over a fairly large box marked 'smiling critters'.
The box seemed to have holes as though the things inside needed to breathe.
Your curiosity got the better of you and you opened the box when suddenly a bunch colorfull looking stuffed animals jumped out they quite small around 2 feet max they all looked and you with terrified expressions on their faces and hid behind an orange dog whom must be their leader or something he looked just as scared as the rest of them
"Don't worry dear I won't hurt you I promise" you reassurred him he turned to look at the rest of them and spoke
"Guys don't worry she seems friendly she promised not to hurt us okay?"
All the other critters came out from behind him and looked at you
"Who are you and what are your names?" you asked
"We're the smiling critters and I'm DogDay"
said their leader
"Hi my name is Hoppy Hopscotch" exclaimed the green rabbit
"I'm BubbaBubbPhant"
"I'm Bobby Bearhug"
"HI I'm PickyPiggy"
"I'm craftycorn"
"The name is Kikin Chikin"
"And that's CatNap he likes to sleep a lot" exclaimed DogDay
"What are you all doing in this alleyway" you asked
"We dont know she just ended up here" replied Bubba
"No we don't have anywhere to go" added Kikin
Hearing this your heart began to melt and you felt like crying because you had a heart you decideded you wanted to keep them
"How about I adopt all of I can take you to my home since you don't have anywhere to stay after all you are just children?" You asked
All the critters agreed and jumped back into the box and you carried them home
