Chapter 11
*B's Point Of View*

My eyes widened by the words that came out of her mouth. Della, skipping? Too good to be true.

"You? Della Mae Porter, wants to skip school?" She slowly nodded and my jaw dropped to the floor. "Is this my best friend? What did you do to her? Did she get brainwashed by aliens?"

"Its still me. Still your best friend. Im just done and don't feel like going to class for the rest of the day." She says nonchalantly.

I didn't know whenever or not to look confused or shocked. Della was a straight A student with a perfect attendance record, despite that one time when she arrived late since Grey's truck broke down that one time. Of course she got excused. The only bad thing that she does was smokes, which is fine by me, but now - her skipping school - it's just shocking.

"Are you feeling ill?" I placed my hand on her forehead to check if she had a temperature but she didn't and instead slapped my hand away.

"I'm feeling perfectly fine B! I just want to get out of this prison."

Something was definitely wrong with her but this wasn't a good place to ask.

"If you want," i muttered, "Firstly we need to go to the bathroom so our teachers doesn't know that we're here. Once the bell rings we wait," I tell her. "I'll tell you more then."

"Ok, let's go."

She started fast walking to the girls bathroom which was near her third period. I stuffed my phone in my pocket and followed behind her trail but slowly. I walked into the bathroom and saw Della closing the door on an available stall. No more stalls for me to hide in, so I took out my lip gloss and pretended 'touch it up.' In my mind I started to count off. Most of the girls in the bathroom left, leaving Della and I alone. I knocked on the stall Della was in, telling her to come out. When I heard the door unlock she met me near the mirrors.

"What happens now? The bell didn't ring yet." I held up a finger telling her to shut it for now.

"Ten....nine....eight.....seven........six," I counted out loud. "five...four......three......two......one." The bell rang.

Della looked at me with a smirk on her face. "How did you know that?"

"Della, I've gotten detentions and had been suspended before. Do you really want to ask me how I know when the bell rings?"

"True, never mind." She shook her head. "Now what's the plan?"

"Now we'll wait a minute or two because they're some teachers who arrive let to class. Then we walk down the hall but follow my lead, there's cameras around campus," She nodded and I continued. "By the time we reach the door we quickly got out. Then we go to my motorcycle."

"Okay, when's the two minutes up?"

I took out my phone to look at the time.
"Now."

I yanked her arm to the door and brought her out. The halls looked deserted without those animals you call students. Peaceful was a word to describe it.

I began walking down the hall, looking up for cameras but barely found any. With Della following my every move we got out in no time.

We made our way to my motorcycle. I took out my keys and unlocked it, climbing on. Della looked at me then the motorcycle afraid. She's been scared of them since the last time that I'd almost crashed us.

"Come on Della. I won't crash us." I calmly tell her.

"Are you sure about that? Last time we almost died."
