In the cozy kitchen of their small town home, Jeongyeon burst through the door, waving a letter in the air. "I got it!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Mr. Yoo and Mrs. Yoo glanced at each other curiously.

"Oh my god, you did?" Seung-Yeon came into the living room almost screaming on top of her lungs. Seo-Yeon , her second sister followed suit.

"Yes...unnie...I got it. Here look." Jeongyeon replied eagerly and handed the letter over to her sister.

"Girls what are you talking about?" Mr. Yoo asked still confused.

"Appa...did you forget. Jeongyeonie got selected at Seoul National University. This letter states she has a full scholarship which means she will be going to the town to study." Seung-Yeon replied excitedly.

The sisters jumped up and down in happiness. Mrs. Yoo gasped in shock and rushed to hug Jeongyeon.

"That's my girl. I knew you would get it." Mr. Yoo stood up from the chair and patted her shoulder affectionately.

"But Jeongyeonie will move out of our house..." Seo-Yeon interjected sadly.

"Aww...will you miss me, unnie?" Jeongyeon teased her sister.

"Uh-oh...never we are going to have so much fun. Right unnie?" Seo-Yeon teased back and held onto Seung-Yeon.

"Stop it you two. Look you made eomma cry." Seung-Yeon complained and pointed at Mrs. Yoo, who wiped a few tear drops threatening to spill out of her eyes.

"Eomma...." Jeongyeon rushed to her mother's side to console.

"It's just happy tears. My baby has grown so big and I am so proud of you honey." Mrs. Yoo emotionally spoke.

"Yeah, we are really proud of you." Mr. Yoo placed a hand over his wife's shoulder comfortingly.

"When do you have to leave?" Seo-Yeon asked curiously.

"The letter says classes will begin in two weeks. So I will have to go next week." Jeongyeon replied.

"Honey, did you call Jihyo?" Mrs. Yoo asked curiously.

"No eomma, I will call her tomorrow." Jeongyeon said.

"Alright, don't lose the letter. Keep it safe with all your certificates and girls help your sister pack for college. This is her first time in a big city. We can all go shopping tomorrow." Mr. Yoo announced excitedly.

"Yaay...." The elder ones yelled happily but Jeongyeon looked hesitant.

"Appa....we don't have to go shopping or anything. I know we have limited income, why waste it on buying things. I have enough stuff with me." Jeongyeon suggested.

"Nonsense. Those are old fashioned. You are going to a city, you need to dress up in a good way, considering your poor choice of fashion the kids will bully you there." Seo-Yeon added.

"Seo-Yeon is right and stop worrying about money. Appa and I got this. You just worry about getting a degree and a job." Seung-Yeon reminded.

Jeongyeon nodded and hugged her family. Once again the room filled with excited screams of the sisters and the small family soon fell into their routine in their small town house.

Jihyo rushes forward, enveloping Jeongyeon in a tight hug."Jagiya....." she affectionately calls her friend.

The two friends laugh as they pull apart. " I can't believe you are finally here." Jihyo says, her happiness is evident.

"Me neither. But guess what I will be here for a really long time." Jeongyeon announced goofily and Jihyo squealed before hugging her friend again.

"Welcome to Seoul, Jeongyeon-ah." Jihyo replied before helping Jeongyeon with her luggage and together the duo walked out of the Train station hand in hand.

It took them half an hour to reach the campus in a taxi. As they stepped into the campus Jeongyeon's eyes widened in amazement. Students rushed past her, chatting excitedly, while others sat on the grass, studying under the shades of the trees.

"Wow! It's so lively here." Jeongyeon exclaimed as she looked around the big campus.

Jihyo grinned, happy to see Jeongyeon's reaction." I told you it's going to be great. Let's go check out our dorm room." Jihyo replied and walked towards the dorm.

Jeongyeon followed Jihyo carrying her backpack while Jihyo helped her with the trolley.

As they entered the dormitory building, Jihyo hesitated a moment before speaking.

"Jeongyeon-ah, I have to tell you something before I show your room. "

"What's it Ji?" Jeongyeon asked curiously.

"I tried really hard to get you as my roommate but unfortunately they allotted the rooms based on birthdays and I was put in a different room with another girl. So you probably will have to share your room with someone else. I am sorry." Jihyo confessed.

Jeongyeon's heart sank at the news." Oh.... really?"

"Yeah...but don't worry my room is only two rooms away. We can still hang out all the time."

Jeongyeon smiled a bit." Okay then."

Together they walked down the hallway towards Jeongyeon's dorm room. None of them knew it was the beginning of something new.
