Fourth had recently secured a position at a nearby coffee shop, a decision he saw as a manageable opportunity with decent pay. When he excitedly shared the news with Gemini, their embrace radiated genuine happiness and shared laughter.

Gemini found himself drawn to the coffee shop more frequently than before, not just for the sake of Fourth's company, but also out of a growing curiosity about Fourth's newfound attachment. Each visit presented an opportunity for Gemini to engage with Fourth, whether through playful banter or quiet moments shared over their favorite drinks.

Gemini couldn't help but notice Fourth's persistent presence in coffee shops, whether he was working or enjoying his free time. So one day, driven by curiosity, Gemini decided to broach the subject.

Gemini's Pov

"Fourth, what's the appeal of coffee shops for you? You practically live in them," Gemini queried, his tone tinged with genuine interest.

Fourth's smile wavered slightly, a fleeting glimpse of uncertainty crossing his features. "I... I just enjoy the atmosphere," Fourth replied, his response guarded yet genuine.
Before I could delve deeper into Fourth's response, Our conversation was interrupted by the cashier's call, beckoning Fourth back to his duties. With a reluctant glance, Fourth excused himself and returned to the counter.

I watched him go, a thoughtful expression clouding his features. I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Fourth's affinity for coffee shops than met the eye. With a quiet determination stirring within him, I silently vowed to uncover the truth, whatever it may be.
If fourth wasnt going to tell me,i guess i'd have to find out myself.

Later that evening, as Gemini sat at his computer, thoughts of Fourth swirling in his mind, he resolved to delve deeper into Fourth's past. With meticulous care, he navigated to Fourth's social media profiles, scouring each post and photo for clues.

Instagram and Twitter offered little insight, but Gemini's persistence paid off when he stumbled upon Fourth's Facebook page. As he scrolled through Fourth's timeline, Gemini's curiosity deepened upon discovering a post from December 4, 2017, announcing Fourth's relationship with a vaguely familiar guy.

Continuing his exploration, Gemini noticed a recurring motif in Fourth's photos: coffee shops. Each image featuring Fourth's ex showcased the cozy ambiance of a cafe, prompting Gemini to ponder the significance of these places in Fourth's life.

The revelation stirred a whirlwind of emotions within Gemini. He refused to stand idly by while Fourth grappled with unresolved feelings from his past. With a quiet resolve burning within him, Gemini made a silent vow to support Fourth through whatever challenges lay ahead and to rewrite their story together, one marked by love, laughter, and the promise of a brighter future.

The next day rolled around, and I found myself back at the coffee shop, settling into my usual spot. I waited, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves, until Fourth showed up, a big grin on his face. He plopped a cup of coffee down in front of me and said, "This one's on me.Enjoy!"I took a sip, feeling all fancy, knowing it was Fourth's special brew. The coffee shop buzzed with chatter, and I couldn't help but soak in the cozy vibe.Fourth hung around, and we chatted about random stuff. It was cool hearing his stories and jokes. But I couldn't shake this feeling like there was more to him than met the eye.

As the conversation came to an end and it became silence between us,I took a deep breath in,"Fourth, I need to talk to you," I began, my voice steady despite the racing of my heart. "I know why coffee shops mean so much to you."My face plastered with seriousness. Fourth's expression flickered with surprise, his eyes widening slightly as he registered my words. "You... you do?"I nodded, my gaze meeting his with newfound certainty.
"It's because of someone you loved. Someone who used to bring you here all the time.. Am i right?"

For a moment, Fourth seemed to freeze, the mask of nonchalance slipping away to reveal the raw vulnerability beneath. "What the fuck?.. H-how did you.." he whispered, his voice barely above a whisper."That doesnt matter right now.Seriously, why'd you have to lie to me?" I shot him a glare that could've melted ice cream. He just stood there, mouth flapping but no words came out. It was so awkward, I could practically hear the crickets chirping.

"I-I just..." Fourth stuttered, but before he could finish, his coworker hollered for him to get back to work. Classic timing, right? He bolted up from his seat, dragging the chair with a screech that probably echoed through the whole joint. For a hot sec, he just stared at me, like a deer caught in headlights, then dashed back to his post behind the counter.

I slammed my fist on the table, not giving a single thought to the stares i were getting from the other customers. I needed answers, and I needed them truthfully.

Gemini's POV

Another dreadful day passed by. Fourth acted as if nothing had happened while I continued coming to the shop. My frustration grew with each passing moment, and this time, I wasn't going to let him off so easily.

After work hours, I waited for Fourth outside the coffee shop, nerves twisting in my stomach. Everyone else had left, and Fourth was the last. I grabbed him by the wrist, my heart pounding, pulling him aside and pinning him against the wall. "Fourth, I need an answer. Why did you lie to me?" I demanded, staring him down with all the seriousness I could muster. I saw the shock and fear in his eyes as he stuttered.
"Listen, let me go first. I-I'll tell you the truth." He fumbled with his words, his voice trembling.
I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself, and released him. I stepped back to a nearby bench, my mind racing. I watched him intently, my chest tight with anticipation. Finally, he spoke. "I like you too, Gemini. I didn't want to involve my ex in our..." He trailed off, leaving me hanging.

"Our what? Our what, Fourth?" I placed a hand on his shoulder and shook him softly, desperation creeping into my voice. He took a deep breath, his eyes meeting mine with a mix of vulnerability and resolve. "Our relationship."

My eyes widened, my heart skipping a beat. Was it true? Fourth liked me back? A whirlwind of emotions-relief, joy, confusion-flooded through me. Just then, as thoughts swirled in my mind, Fourth wrapped his arm around my neck and pulled me in. My breath hitched as our lips met, his soft, sweet lips pressing against mine, and for a moment, everything's gone quiet. The only thing i could focus on was Fourth.
