chapter 4: How Long do We Have

Hi, again guys. Sorry for the long wait, I was really busy. I had my birthday last week, (I'm 13 now!) so I was planning a lot for it. Well, I won't keep you waiting any longer, on to chapter four.

Chapter Four: How long do we have?

After we finished deciphering the prophecy, the room had cleared out decently quick, after Vikus informed everyone we were leaving in two days, timed.

As he was talking, I had been thinking to myself; It was already the first day, and we're going on another quest.

But, it didn't matter to me as much, because I was back in the place I belonged.

A few minutes after Vikus finished speaking, there was only Luxa and me in the room, left standing there.

"Where will you be staying, Gregor?" asked Luxa.

I actually had no idea, and the fact that I didn't know where Boots was either, didn't help.

"I wasn't given a room, do you know where Boots is?" I informed her, waiting for her to respond.

"You are welcome to stay in one of my spare rooms," she replied, "Boots is also in the spare room, sleeping."

"Okay, I guess I will stay with you guys, then."

After we finished speaking, we both headed towards Luxa's spare rooms, and Luxa silently slipped her hand into mine.

The walk to her quarters was quite silent, we were continuing with the contentment of being together.

When we got to her rooms, we walked inside to see Boots sleeping, with Hazard, who had dozed off beside her, leaving me to the other spare room.

But, Luxa just walked up to the coach in the room, and sat on it, patting the cushion beside her. I sat down beside her, and yawned quietly.

"Do you think the last part will come true?" Luxa asked, quietly.

When I looked up, I saw her violet eyes tinged with sadness.

"Of course it will, we have made it through harder times than this," I responded, giving her a reassuring smile.

"Okay, I believe you, but only because I trust you with my life," Luxa smiled, tiredly.

We sat there in silence, and as time went by, I heard Luxa's breathing slow and felt her asleep on my arm.

I didn't want to wake her, so I just kissed her on the forehead, falling asleep next to her.

Okay, so forth chapter. I know it was a little short, compared to my other chapters but I didn't have much time to write a lot, but I wanted to post. Sorry about that, but also, I might not be able to post until next Saturday.
