Today was the Alex was going to the village event but Rhysand wasn't here yet, tapping his foot on the ground and caressing his horse he was waiting for Rhysand. Rhysand came while catching his breath by continuously running.
"Let's go" Alex look at him and said,
"This is the 10 time you are getting late" Rhysand gave him a sweet smile.
"I will be on time next time" Alex scoff,
"You always say the but next time I will punish you if you get late, you know I didn't like to wait for someone" Alex said,
"Don't worry there will someone come in your life and make you wait all day but you won't get tired and will wait for her happily" Rhysand said in dreamy voice, Rhysand cringe at him and scoff.
"Sound cringe and me waiting for someone, my foot" Alex said while hopping on horse.
"Let's go already" Alex said, Rhysand also hopped on his horse and instruct his guards to follow them.

Time skip:

Getting off from horse Alex look at the crowd and get annoyed,
"Dad want me to go in this types of places" he said rudely, Alex look at the horse and instruct guard to tie them in safe place.
"Your highness they are here to protect you not the horses" rhysand said in concerning tone,
"You know this horse is means so much to me beside you are here to protect and I can also protect myself" Alex said, reminding his friend that he is the best fighter in this kingdom, he was trained from the day he turn eleven and this horse was the last gift from his mother. Rhysand sigh and follow him.

Time skip:

Rhysand was looking at the place in awe when he said,
"Isn't it looking beautiful" he didn't get any reply so he look where alex was standing before but only to realize he lost the sight of him.
"Shit I'm in trouble now"

On the other side Alex was walking while looking at the stalls, he look behind but didn't see Rhysand behind him.
"This man" he sigh and about to look away when he saw the two men were harassing the girls who were getting scared but didn't said anything cuz the men's were from upper class, he observe them but did nothing cuz he thaught the girls are playing hard to get and beside it was not his business. Getting bore he was about to walk away when he saw a girl came to the men while taking her sword from her waist and and cut the hands of one of the men who was touching the girl in inappropriate way.
"Ahhhhh" the man scream in pain, the blood was making the place look horrible, Alex look at the girl who had the audacity to cut the men's hand.

Froze...

Thud...

He saw her hazel eyes where looking at the men in so much satisfaction but unfortunately he can't see her face bcz of the mask she is wearing, he lost the sight of her beautiful eyes when the men block her and said,
"You bitch I will kill you" he saw the man was going towards her, unknown anger boiled in him and he walk faster and raised his sword and slashed the man's knee which made the men drop on his knee infront the girl, Alex place his sword on the man's head and the man was looking like he was bowing to the girl.
"Dare to move and I will cut your head" Alex said and look at the other man who clutching his hand in pain, he smirk and look at the girl who was staring back at him and he felt spark in his body, he observe her from head to toe. She was wearing a cloak which was hiding her and the mask was not helping at all, he wants to see her face but he was cut off by Rhysand who came running with guards.
"Your highness are you okay, what happened, are you hurt somewhere..." Alex cut him off by saying,
"Take these men's torture cell" Rhysand was in need of explanation but he sigh and nodded his head.
"Yes your highness anything else" Rhysand said and order the guards to take those men's,
"Yes and this girl..." Alex look at the place where was the girl standing before but she was not there anymore.
"Which girl, your highness" Alex look disappointed,
"Nothing let's go" Rhysand look at him wierdly but shrugged and they start their journey to palace.

A moment ago

Hazel was standing and looking at shops after she lost the sight of George, her eyes caught the sight of two men harassing the girls but the anger in her boiled when she saw no one is doing something. She walk towards them and cut the hand of the man who was touching the girl in inappropriate way. The man scream and she got satisfaction but in no time other man came and said.
"You bitch I will kill you" she roll her eyes internally at the threat knowing he is nothing Infront of her skills of fighting. She saw he start coming towards her but next moment he was on his knee infront of her.

Looking up she saw a beautiful handsome man was standing and looking at the man Infront of her. She saw he smirk and wondered he's eyes towards the man who was clutching his hand.

They both made made an eye contact, but Hazel was snapped by the man who came while running towards Alex.

She saw Alex was looking at Rhysand who just came now, finding an opportunity she ran away silently hoping no one saw her or it will be a big trouble for her.

Time skip

She was walking towards were the her horse was tired, she bump her head into something. Clutching her dagger and look up only to see George was looking at her.

"Gosh hazel where were you, I was so worried and was finding you everywhere" hazel hoped on her horse and said coldly,
"We both lost sight of each other, let's go" George was looking hurt the way she always talk to him so coldly but he knew she care for him and the past change her like that.

Its just George feelings and we can't blame cuz the poor boy was in...
