Betty sits on the bench.the golden hues of the sunset casting a warm glow around her. She gazes out at the field, lost in her thoughts. Suddenly, she feels a presence beside her. Glancing to her side, she sees James walking past, his expression unreadable.
For a moment, they simply stand there, the sound of the birds filling the silence between them. Betty steals a glance at James, catching his eye. Their gaze holds, each feeling the weight of unspoken words lingering in the air.
Despite the turmoil of the past, there's still something undeniable between them, a connection that refuses to fade away completely.
But neither of them speaks. The moment stretches on, filled with unspoken longing and regret. Eventually, James looks away, breaking the spell.

HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA - DAY
Betty sits at a table with Lyla and Aria, their expressions serious as they exchange concerned glances.
LYLA:
Betty, we need to talk.Betty looks up, sensing the gravity of the situation.
BETTY:
What's going on?ARIA:
We're worried about you, Betty. It's been two years since James and you, and yet you're still holding onto those feelings.Betty's eyes flicker with emotion, but she remains silent, knowing deep down that her friends are right.
LYLA:
You deserve someone who respects you and treats you with honesty, Betty. James isn't that person. No matter how much you want him to be the one for you he will never be the person you want him to be...Betty nods slowly, her mind swirling with conflicting emotions.
BETTY:
I know you're right, but it's hard to let go.ARIA:
We understand, Betty. But holding onto someone who doesn't deserve you will only hold you back from finding true happiness.Betty takes a deep breath, steeling herself against the ache in her heart.
BETTY:
I'll try, guys. I promise.Lyla and Aria exchange a supportive smile, knowing that Betty's journey to healing won't be easy, but they'll be there for her every step of the way.
