Episode 19 (Opposite Situations)

Later, in the Xibalba palace, Abrupto was walking in a corridor with firm steps and with a very cold look and full of pride and determination, but suddenly, he begins to look down while allowing himself to be invaded by memories of when he lived in the Deep Caves. The first memory that comes to Abrupto's head is one that takes place after they both found and took Stella and Brandon to the Deep Caves...

The Beginning of the first Flashback...

In that first memory that suddenly came to Abrupto, he found on a small table the bouquet of red flowers that Sponsus had brought to present to Princess Amentia. And when Abrupto came to see that bouquet of flowers very close, he began to look in all directions to see if anyone was coming, but since no one else came to the place where Abrupto had been, he took advantage of that moment of solitude to take that bouquet of flowers and thus take a petal from one of the flowers to twist it with his fingers, and all in order to throw to lose the union between Sponsus and Amentia...

-Abrupto (very cold): "Your first gift that you will give to Princess Amentia, will be the only one that she will have from you. And once she rejects your gift, just as she rejects you, you won't have a chance to become a sovereign".

And once he had carried out his selfish and deceitful sabotage against Sponsus's gift for Amentia, Abrupto returned to leave that bouquet of red flowers on the small table to get as far away as possible from the place where he was...

-Abrupto (still very cold): "And although you have trained all your life, from a very young age, to become a prince, I hope you see what it feels like to be left aside for the one that will break your heart, Sponsus".

The End of the first Flashback...

Despite having recently remembered what he did to Sponsus years ago, Abrupto didn't show a single hint of remorse for the damage he had done to the current prince of the Deep Caves after marrying Amentia. Quickly, another of his memories suddenly appeared in his mind...

The Beginning of the second Flashback....

In that second memory, Abrupto was confronted by the now-Prince Sponsus, after having learned that that big and resentful Trog was the one who had spoiled the gift that that Trog prince had given to Amentia...

-Sponsus (very puzzled and outraged, towards Abrupto): "This is unacceptable, Abrupto! Totally unacceptable! I can't believe that you were the one to sabotage that beautiful gift that I had given to my beloved Amentia, why did you do it!?"

-Abrupto (very grumpy but firm, towards Sponsus): "I had my reasons to make you see what happened to me, and if I can't be happy with a woman by my side, I don't have to let such a weak being as you have what you think you deserve! Even if you have become a prince, just as you were taught to be, don't think that I will bow down to you"

-Sponsus (now angrier and firmer, but at the same time serene, towards Abrupto): "Well, if that's how you want it, I ask you to leave here, Abrupto... And don't come back, you've disappointed me too much. And I thought we were friends".

After listening to the last words that Sponsus gave him, Abrupto left the place where he and Sponsus were without saying a single word to him, besides thinking that, for Abrupto, the request that Sponsus gave him was more than anything a direct order.

The End of the secondo Flashback...

After having remembered both moments involving Sponsus, Abrupto begins to say what he thinks at this moment while he was still walking with firm steps...
