'Oh Ruby! Stop stop my mom is going to catch us!' I laughed my ass off when she kept kissing my neck
'Kaelynn just relax baby. She won't catch us' Ruby kissed my jaw then my cheek then...

RING! RING! RING!

I jumped up from my bed and fell into a box. 'Okay wow.' My mom and I had just moved into a small apartment in Downtown LA two days ago and boxes were still lying around. 'Mom mom get up!' I screamed into her ear but instead got a hard slap across my face. 'OW! GET UP WOMAN!' Pushing her off the bed I had to share with her. 'What time is it?' My mom said under the covers. '6:30' I replied. 'I'm going to be late for school' I added.

She just ignored me so I walked over to bathroom and got into the shower. I tilted my head when the warm water hit my back. All that came to mind was my dream of Ruby Rose and I all romantic.

A few minutes later I got out and dressed up. I had picked out a pair of ripped jeans, a Paramore shirt and black vans. 'Sweetie hurry' my mom said while I was doing my hair. 'Yeah mom I'm almost done' I called out.

'Don't you wanna eat? It's gonna be a long day Lynn' my mom said worried. Today was my first day at LakenWood High and I was NOT looking forward to it! I grabbed a Questbar and gave my mom a quick nod before I headed out. I put in my earphones and played American Idiot by Green Day. A few moments I had zoned out.

About 5 minutes later I arrived at school and put my earphones away. Boy was I lucky that it was a walking distance from the apartment. Since the day before I had gotten my class schedule, I headed straight to my first class.

I walked in and it was full of students, making noise and on their phones but the lesson had started. As soon as they saw me it went dead silent.
'You must be Kaelynn. Please take a seat next to the young lady over there' the teacher said as she pointed to a blonde girl who was sitting by a window looking outside.

'Hi' I said to her. 'I'm Kaelynn.' She turned towards me and had a pretty smile on her face. 'Hey there! I'm Dakota. Nice to meet you'

I later found out that her full name was Dakota Pettison. She had short blonde hair about the same length as mine with brown highlights. Her smile was of an angel's and her lips were red and full. Dakota had seemed to be a hippy cause she had a flowery band on her hair that day and a shirt that had the peace sign on it.

At lunch I was by the cafeteria when I got frightened by a
hand on my shoulder. I nearly jumped out of my skin. 'I'm sorry' Dakota said laughing when I turned around. 'I didn't mean to scare you' she added. 'Its fine. I zone out a lot' I replied to her. 'So I have noticed' she said with a smile. 'Do you want to sit with me? I don't really have any friends' Dakota asked me. 'Sure and I am pretty sure that you have friends' I said. She just turned away and headed to a nearby table.

She formally introduced herself and I did the same. We sat there talking about ourselves but then she turned and stared at something. 'He is so hot' she said sighing. 'Who?' I was trying to locate the guy she was talking about. Then I saw him. He had a chiseled jaw, sparkling blue eyes and lip piercing. Totally Luke Hemmings

I was still staring at him when she said 'But I'm a lesbian.'
'What?' I asked her. 'You heard me. Are you homophobic?' She replied. 'Ofcourse not. That's crazy, I'm just surprised' I said. 'Don't worry, I won't fall for you Kaelynn' Dakota said laughing.

Okay now let's see if that actually happened

Hello, I finally wrote the first chapter of my new story. I wanted to write something different so there you have it. Sorry it's a bit short, wanted to leave you in suspense.
