Nico wasn't shocked when he seen the plate of food empty and the window open, the Hero had ran away. He really needed to do some research on these Hero's, if they even are Hero's. But how would he be able to? Well.. he hasn't seen any monster's since entering Gotham, and usually they would be after him. He decided that maybe the monster's couldn't enter Gotham.
He grabbed a drachma and gathered enough light to make a rainbow. "Oh Iris, goddess of the rainbow, please accept my offering." He saw as Percy came into view and when Percy noticed Nico he looked shocked. "Nico!? Me and Annabeth have been worried, where are you!?" Nico took a deep breath "i'm in Gotham, Percy. My father rerouted me and now i'm here."
"Hades!? Why would he do that?" Percy questioned, his face going into one if confusion.
"He says i've been granted a second chance at family,." Nico sighed. He had always had a certain thought on family. And it wasn't a nice one. Percy's face changed into a look of understanding. "I understand, Nico. Just avoid the Wayne's and you'll be fine."
"The Wayne's..?"
"The Wayne's."
"Who are they?"
"...Nico.. the Wayne's are famous people. From Bruce-"
"Ok, got it. And the Hero's?"
"Not 'Hero's'. Vigilante's."
Nico sighed. At least he knew what they were now.
"What are their names?"
"Well.. there's five. The main one's i mean. There's Nightwing, he's the oldest. Then Red Hood, Red Robin, then Robin and Batman. Batman has been a vigilante for the longest, and is the most experienced. Why do you ask?"
"Well.. i may have ran into one. He had a black suit with a blue bird symbol, I don't know i didn't care to really look in the moment."
"You ran into Nightwing..."
Percy let go of a long breath and began to say something else, but the connection of the message was going out, Nico sighed as he lost the connection all together.
He decided that maybe he should just go out for a walk. It was early in the morning, and not much people would be awake.
Nico was wrong.
There were lot's of people walking the streets. It was dark and everyone looked miserable. Why would someone live in such a city if they are scared like this. Why don't they leave?
He asked himself this question. He seemed to also notice just how well he fits in with the miserable people walking, they all walked with their heads hung low, and their hands stuffed in their pockets or hoodies. He really must look miserable at camp...
He stepped into an alleyway, he had heard some grunts and thuds, he really needs to stop getting curious. He's not in the right place to.
He watched as a vigilante, must be Robin considering he has a small yellow 'R' circled on his costume.
Nico stepped closer, clinging to the shadows as he watched the fight go down, the vigilante is a fairly good fighter, actually a really good fighter. He could probably beat Percy... nevermind, the size difference.
Nico watched as the vigilante was stabbed in their thigh. He decided maybe he should step in. So he did.
Nico helped the vigilante fight them off for good, then turned back to Robin. "You're hurt, let me help." Nico whispered, trying to make sure the vigilante know that he isn't a threat of some kind.
Nico saw as Robin just kinda stared at him, analyzing him. He slowly stepped forward. When Robin didn't move he decided to see how far he could get. Nico took another step closer. He gently lifted up the vigilante, who was holding a katana, ready to hurt Nico if he did something.
Nico took the vigilante back to his apartment and when he got there he laid Robin down.
He gave the vigilante something to bite down on if needed and pulled the knife out of his thigh. The vigilante closed his eyes and let out a small muffled whimper.
Nico put pressure onto the cut, which wasn't that deep, then proceeded to wrap the cut. "Do you want pain pills?" Nico asked softly, Robin shook his head, so Nico respected that.
Nico let the vigilante rest while he notified Nightwing of Robin's presence. Nightwing said he'll pick the small vigilante up in the morning, so Nico went off to his room after eating.
