Episode 58: Jade's Determination

Once the audio and video feed I smirked darkly, holding the belt chain in my hands that I snagged off of Silver's pocket. "Word of advice...don't give a girl who can make anything from nothing, something to use." I said, weakly, hoarsely as I picked the lock on my hand cuffs and ankle cuffs.
I grunted as I crawled to the table and pulled myself up. I held my right knee that no longer had the brace on it because they took it off of me. "AGH!" I cried, gripping my knee.
  I saw an injection tube and mixed the Onyx and Aphrodite Rose to make adrenaline, the Aphrodite rose absorbed and dissolved the Succinylcholine (paralyzing agent) of Onyx completely and amplified the adrenaline up to 50 times more potent. I was basically going to give myself a shot of adrenaline on steroids because that is the only way I can move right now. "I'm probably gonna regret this." I said, my hand shaking, as I used my other hand to stabilize the one holding the needle, and then I stabbed the needle into my right thigh.
  "AGH!" I cried out, and I felt a boost of energy and strength.
I used what little upper body strength I had left to pull myself to my feet. I grunted, inhaling sharply as I got behind the table and yelled with effort as I pushed it to the barred window. "Where's that fucking button." I said, as I climbed onto the table and I hit it.
I raised the table to its highest and looked at the hook dangling. I panted and looked at the jump. I grunted with effort as I made the jump, grabbing the hook. I screamed out in pain and then I began to swing to the barred window. With how malnourished I was, I slipped right through the bars and cried happily when I felt the grass below my fingers, feeling the warmth of the sun on my face...it's been six months in that dank, dark, must torture chamber. I wanted to bask in it, feel it, but I didn't have time.
I grunted with effort as I stood up and practically dragged myself, biting back every scream, every tear, every amount of pain I had, to get to the prison. The pain was minimal, so the mixture was working for me. I took out the guards watching the prison and used the chain to deliver a shock to the prison video and audio feed for a few minutes.
  I sprinted into the prison and saw Hanta, Kirishima, Bakugo, Yo, Tetsu, Elarza, Seth, Daeva, mom, and dad. They were severely malnourished and slightly injured from being underground for so long, they'd still need about 6 months to recover.
  I grunted, limping to the cells and used the key to unlock the cells. "Jade!" Kirishima shouted.
  "You all need to go...now." I said, scrambling as I freed Kirishima.
  "We're not leaving without you!" Bakugo shouted.
  "You don't have a choice." I said, freeing Bakugo next.
  "We can't just leave you Jade." Dad said.
  "I'll only slow you down, you have to go!" I shouted, freeing dad.
  "Jade...where is your brace?" Mom asked.
  "They took it." I said, breathing hard, freeing her.
  "Jade, please! We can't leave here without you!" Daeva cried.
  "You have to, ok? They're coming to kill you! All of you!" I shouted, freeing Daeva.
  "What?" Tetsu asked, as I freed him.
  "I'll buy you time, but you have got to run and not look back." I said.
  "Jade...please don't make us do this." Elarza said.
  "If you die, Shoto isn't safe. Xia is trying to mind control him, and you're the only one keeping that from happening with the enchantment you put on his mind for me. If you die, everyone's screwed." I said, freeing Elarza.
  "Jade...don't." Seth said, and I smiled at him.
  "Barbra won't let them kill me, I'll be fine. But you have to get back to Arcadia." I said, freeing Seth.
  "After this stunt, they might." Yo said.
  "Trust me, I'm too valuable to Barbra." I said, freeing Yo.
  "Jade please...I can carry you, we can escape together." Hanta said.
  "I'm not arguing this with you. Please, keep Shoto and Arcadia safe." I said, freeing Hanta.
  The doors opened. "GO! There is a secret passage down here behind the spiral staircase up that leads into the catacombs. Once you get to the catacombs you'll be in the forest. Take the middle passage way, you'll go directly to Tianzo and Ember Grotto. Get taken care of there, and then get the hell home as soon as you're healed up, and take down Xia. After that, you can come find me." I said.
"Jade!" Kirishima shouted.
"You can't change my mind on this." I said.
Kirishima hugged me and I melted into his arms trying not to have a full mental breakdown as I held him. "We'll find you, I promise." Kirishima said.
  I smiled at him. "I know you will." I said, nodding, and I squeezed him tightly. "Go! I've got at least a few more minutes of this adrenaline rush left to buy you enough time to get off of their radar." I said, and they nodded running off.
  Elarza opened the passage and led everyone in. I smiled and the passage closed. "Let's do this." I said, wrapping my hands in my rainbow-colored aura.
  "Reequip!" I yelled.
I wore a black sarashi wrap around my breasts, a primarily green hakama with a teal flame-pattern coming from the bottom outlined in black, a white rope belt with two white cloths near the pocket area of the hakama attached. I wore no shoes, and my hair was pulled back into a high pony tail by a green headband with my bangs framing my face.
I held a pair of golden-hilted katana blades with black bandages around the grips of both swords and a demon head pommel on the ends.
"BENIZAKURA!" I yelled, and there was a massive explosion of all 40 of the elements in an X that shot through all of them and they screamed out bloody murder, completely passing out.
  I pointed one blade at the hordes of guards that flooded into the prison and held the other blade behind my back. "I don't have a power, so I'll make myself into a weapon." I said.

*Author's Note: Jade learned Armament Magic by reading Seraphina's books and journals that Kana lent her and has turned herself into an arsenal of weapons and armors. Jade learned this all on her own, it's not something she was born with or given like her Quirk and everyone else's magic.*

  I launched at them and I took them all down with Benizakura, every wave of guards they sent, taken out by my Benizakura in this armor. I felt a wave of pain wash over me...that must have meant the drug wore off, but I still fought despite being on the verge of passing out.
  My eyes shrank when I was wrapped in purple lightning.
  "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" I screamed out, as my body smoked and I collapsed, the armor shattering and I was naked once more, lying on the ground.
  "That's enough of that." Xia said.
I looked at her and then I passed out from pain and exhaustion.
